2025 NHL Playoffs

Panthers really want to keep that Cup.

 

GO OILERS!!! This time the Stars didn't come back in the third.

 

Panthers up 3-0 in boring ass games. Panthers going back to the Cup final and I can't see them being stopped.

 

Total domination for the panthers!

 

Go Oilers up 2-1. I think Florida is going to get a long rest. Can't see Oilers or Stars beating them but that is why they play the games.

 

Edmonton up 3-1. Panthers up 3-1. It will be these two in Cup final. I just hope games are close. These semi finals pretty much suck.

Crap, I though Carolina would extend series. Started off great but Panthers want that second cup.

Wednesday night the Florida Panthers travel to beautiful (?) Edmonton to face the Oilers.

Last Cup for Oilers was 1990. Funny, they traded Gretzky and still won the Cup.

Panthers have 1 Cup and it was against the Oilers last season.

Oilers time to win I hope. Got down 3-0 last year and battled back only to lose a fantastic game 7.

 

NBA sidebar: Seems there is a team called the Thunder. I had to look them up. Oklahoma City it turns out. Never heard of them until right now. I don't know anyone who remotely follows BB. Never see a Sixers flag or shirt in my area. Anyhow they will battle the Indiana Pacers for the Championship.

Hell of it I looked up both teams. Never heard of anyone.

Last game I watched was just because we were friends with the parents of Frank Vogel. The Lakers won it all and our local paper had a two paragraph mention that he was from Wildwood, NJ. When Frank was a kid I use to assist him in messing with the adult couples his parents had over for game night. He'd sneak out of bed and I helped him anyway possible. Hey, wasn't my kid.

 

Now that was an NHL game!!

Is new Penguins head coach Dan Muse and Pirates announcer Joe Block the same person? Uncanny.
