    Hey everyone! AskQuestionsLater here and today, I bring with you the updated Top 32 Big Board!! As stated by yours truly leading up to the event, I expected and anticipated a lot of movement heading into the combine and boy oh boy was I not disappointed. Quite a bit of players definitely made their case and some have even moved up. Others down... but that is to be expected exiting such an event. Well... I believe I have said enough as far as the intro's go so why not begin the list?! As always though;

    As stated, quite a bit of change! Now, before we go, a quick summary overall of the class post combine.

    I was on record in the Pre Combine Top Five Positional Rankings that the combine would decide the who reigns supreme in the EDGE group. Well... Dallas Turner... take a bow good sir! You are the best of the best.

    If this WR Class wasn't legendary enough.... man.... any team in need of can simply wait it out. No seriously... why not?! Sounds crazy but in positions that don't have as much depth such as IOL or EDGE..... best to get the best of the best rather than the best of the rest.... even though the rest of this class is as unreal as one gets circa 2014.

    Edgerrin's name will be called on Day 1. Not early but guaranteed late. Why?! Instincts?! Check. Football IQ?! Check. Complete Skill Set?! Check?! Tremendous Athleticism?! Check. Leadership?! Check. Most importantly... very weak class?!.. Check. All in all?!.... book him for a late Day One surprise.

    Some might be surprised... if not shocked.. that Cooper DeJean didn't move... at all. To that end, I mind those who are critical to go back and look at the tape. Most still believe him to be a Safety only but his Instincts and Play Recognition are simply too impressive for him to be limited to a static role.

    So.... this QB Class?! Very good but more sizzle than steak. A lot of these QBs ad lib way too much for my liking minus Jayden Daniels, Michael Penix and J.J. McCarthy. Processing, Play Recognition and Football IQ are difficult to notice at first but those that have such traits stand out from the pack compared to others. Caleb's
    Hero Ball antics will surely see him out of the league if Chicago or whomever else doesn't reign him in and Drake Maye is in DIRE NEED of a Redshirt Season. Both Williams and Maye have the tools and potential but both need the development and coaching to reach their Franchise QB levels; doubly so in Maye's case.

    Thus concludes another edition of the 2024 NFL Draft Top 32 Big Board! Again, this is the Post Combine Edition! No need to worry though for two more are to come; the Post Pro Day and the Final Edition before the storm! For now though, here is where each prospect stands!

    All in all, that will do it for this write up! Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed! If you have comments, questions or critiques, please feel free to leave them down below as it always helps!!

    Once again, this is AskQuestionsLater saying so long, stay safe and I will see you all next time! See you next time!! :)

    I appreciate the time and effort you put in to this. While I might disagree with some rankings, overall I agree with most.
    I agree with your comments about DeJean, but unless we are planning on playing him at strong safety I’d be a hard pass. He excels in zone, and press man is a weakness of his.

    Thanks man!! Appreciate it!! :hi:

    Mind you though when I do rankings, I dont do them regarding how I believe the Steelers would rank them. I do my rankings based on how I would rank them relative to their peers. Allow me to explain;

    Create a list of the Top 32 (much of this for me is done by November).

    Grade each player overall.

    Rank the players within their positions (Marvin Harrison Jr vs. Malik Nabers for example) .

    Choose the best of the best from each position for the best of the best (see above)

    Rank the best players overall relative to how greater their ranking is compared to others (i.e. if one top rated player A from a position is graded out higher than top rated player B, player A will receive a higher grade.

    Most importantly though....

    Grade the players... not the position.

    Hope this helps you understand my methodology!! :drinks:

    I don’t have a problem with where you ranked DeJean. I think he’s the best db in the draft. And thanks for the explanation, maybe if I get bored I’ll give it a shot.

    I have Jared Verse ahead of Turner, on size, 6-4 254. He is top 10.
    I think Edgerrin Cooper at 6-2 230 is a little skinny framed to be in first round conversation, I don't think there is a first round ILB in this class.

    I am very happy to see Brian Thomas at 22. Hope he falls to us at 20, that will be an easy sprint to podium.

    I have come to the conclusion he is the pock at 20. Him or JPJ. But if we get an FA Center then he'd be a better value than JPJ and thus the overall #1 pick at 20 for me.
