After you get the bills for a daughter's wedding, you'll be lucky to pick up the game on an old crystal radio set. I know, I have two daughters. Sure hoped that eloping was still fashionable and I would have gladly paid for a collect call from Reno or Vegas.

Best thing for me is that I have AFN to fall back on for most of those games that are exclusive. They normally push those to us over the satellite. I prefer not streaming and being behind the actual game so that helps me out.

Isn't that what you want for this young and inexperienced offense?

I love the easy start and hard ending to the schedule. I would have hated to open with those last 4 opponents. (Balt, KC, Phi and Cinci)

Hate the schedule. Wanted to go twice once each with 1 of my 2 kids and the sunday/Monday night games blow plus an Xmas game. Really limiting.

Don't wish too much for a Flex game, or you could end up with the dreaded Fan Thursday night Flex; where your standard Sunday game, gets moved to Thursday.

I'm running through other teams' schedules and I have not found a 4 straight divisional game stretch for any of them yet. That's just crazy! Add in that in those 6 weeks it's 5 out of 6!

The Browns on a short week after the Ravens, then to immediately face the Bengals and Browns is brutal.

Get through this part of the schedule and they'll be well prepped for the playoffs

The Good: The Steelers get to break in the offensive line and new scheme before the gauntlet after the bye. They'll get 11 days rest after the Christmas game, essentially giving them a mini bye week to heal up before playing Cincinnati. We'll get to see what the Steelers have at the QB position before the gauntlet at well.

The Bad: it's not that they play the Eagles, Ravens, and Chiefs in subsequent weeks; it's that they play those games in an 11-day span. That's just a brutal stretch. Opening the season with 2 straight away games stink, but it's life.

Better start off good, because back end looks brutal. Of course, we really don't know because injuries change everything quickly.

    11 day stretch-
    Steelers- Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs
    Ravens- Giants, Steelers, Texans
    Chiefs- Browns, Texans, Steelers
    Texans- Dolphins, Chiefs, Ravens

We can complain about the three day stretch, and I'm sure the Texans are too, since they're just swapping out the Eagles for the Dolphins. But you've got three division champions and the Steelers, with odd games against 3 playoff teams and the Giants as the odd man out. This is just a stretch of playoffs before the playoffs. It's all going to come down to who's healthiest.

That stretch you guys are worried about, we always are going to have Ravens on the road so that is a given every year. If memory serves the Eagles were one of the worse teams in the NFL the second half. They got destroyed:) Yep, we don't win in Philly, I know. Nice of the NFL sending us there twice in a row. Don't sweat KC. Taylor could cause turmoil on the team.
