    In the defense of @S.T.D@S.T.D, Cam Smith was projected to go in the First Round... much like Joey Porter Jr. Now, JPJ has production woes but Cam Smith has severe Off Field problems... according to many sources via WalterFootballs Charlie Campbell. Given how they just signed on Eli Apple to the team, I doubt that Smith will receive much action now barring injury.

    Ron Woodson was of a different caliber all around, but I recall times when he took 'those' chances. I think he was on MNF and the receiver was wide open on screen, Rod came from no where in sight and took it to the house. a split moment off and it would have went the other way, the confidence it takes to just go for that is amazing.

    Well...!! Rod... as you said, was on another level! :drinks:

    People tend to forget how great Rod was during his first five seasons. Reason why so many opt for Deion was due to the fact that he was possessed a lot more flair for the position; something that had never been done before. Rod just went about his business and performed extremely well.

    This all said though, Rods ability to take chances yielded greater impact as you alluded to. Rod still possess the most Pick 6s (12) for a reason. Dude was so damn deadly once he got the ball in his hands.

    Your coach would have to be dumber than a bag of Hammers to determine his starting lineup based on watching rookie OTAs and Walk Arounds.

    I know he is sucking on the field right now, but he did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. :)

    Well... in Frank Reich's defense... he has seen Good QB Play during his tenure in the NFL. The reason I had picked the Panthers to go with CJ Stroud over Bryce Young is due to the fact that Reich's history of working with QBs 6'3 or over. He has never worked with someone like Bryce who is barely six feet. All this said though... remove that Height and Bryce Young very much is a difference maker in terms of what he can bring to the table; all the more reason he did go number one overall.

    Between me and you, Carolina is going to shock.. and I mean SHOCK... a lot of people heading into this season health permitting for Bryce.

    Washington was good at catching a contested pass but just didn't have that burst that you need to be a WR in the NFL.

    8-9 won that division last year. Panthers could easily win that division and make it into the playoffs even with a losing record.

    I don't know if winning their division would shock anyone. It looks like all 4 teams in the NFC South will have new starting QBs this year.

    Tampa = Baker
    Panthers = Bryce
    Saint = Carr
    Falcons = Ridder

    I think it will be another 8-9 team to win the NFC South again this year.

    I mean...

    Not shocking Joe. Dude is irredeemable in the eyes of many; NFL Players no less. Hell, I would imagine this isn't the last we hear of this regarding Watson.

    NFL Players just might "Police" Watson out of the league. Not saying it will happen rapidly but expect cheap shots aimed at Jim.
