    Situation plays a part.

    Yes. It was a hold.

Was it enough of a hold to warrant deciding a very well played Super Bowl over? No.

You should spare yourself the misery and go get a Mahomes jersey. You can also go jump on the Burrow bandwagon if you wish. They hand out free tissues for all newcomers I hear.

Technically it was the right call, but it wasn’t an egregious hold. I think the ref needs to hold the flag in that situation.

If that's technically holding then there could be a flag on every single play in every single game. It was a terrible call.

Hurts played a really good game. The fumble was a big mistake, but I’ve seen other great players lose their grip on the ball in similar situations. It was a flukey kind of thing where he was shifting the ball from his left hand to his right with contact coming. It wasn’t a judgement error like throwing into triple coverage.

The least followed team in Philadelphia will be the one to give them a parade. Sixers.

Anybody still hanging on to the whole defense wins championships trope?

The Chiefs beat three teams with statistically better defenses to win the SB this year.

    QBs win championships nowadays.

Thats not what determines who's a better team lol. Eagles honestly outplayed the chiefs. Mahomes is just the best player to ever play this game and is capable of overcoming odds like this. First time you can really recall a guy in football 2 big games in a row beating the better team.

It is when that same call is overlooked all game long.
If you let it go for 58 minutes and only call it at the end, how is that not a bad call?

I was happy as hell but had to admit it was a terrible call. So many NFL games are decided by wrong calls. Nature of the beast.

Sad but true. NFL fans want exciting offense and the rule changes aided that. I'm old school and was raised on defensive battles. One thing you'll never see again is a team having shutouts like the 76 Steelers.

I thought that about Marino and Rodgers but they have 1 SB. Every season is different. I fear Burrow way more then Mahomes. We have to play him twice. I know how it looks at the moment but let's give Kenny a chance.

While this wasn't the time to say that is he wrong? Mahomes clears everyone in the nfl currently by a good margin. This is MJ in his prime.

The argument could be made that it was 58 minutes of bad calls then (by not calling the penalties).

To me a bad call is a penalty when something doesn’t actually happen.

That was a great SB. I hated how the Chiefs won it, I was hoping so hard he’d shank that FG, would serve them right for not taking the sure TD but the strategy worked, they hit the FG and left the Eagles no time.

Hurts played a great game, that was a SB worthy performance. He’ll be a force for years to come. He has to be kicking himself for that fumble. Ball slipped, it happens. Happened to Mahomes in the Bengals game, he was fortunate enough to get the win though.

Very happy the Steelers picked up Weidl, man did he put together a good squad for the Eagles. So envious of the lines he put together there, hope he can do the same here.

Sixers will have to redeem them. Should they be in NBA finals the word "bandwagon" will really come into play. I know tons of Philly people and none talk about the Sixers.
