That play is why running QBs don’t last. Take what you can get and get down.

 

Understood, but it really is all semantics. The emergency QB rule was the 3rd QB could not enter unless the other 2 were injured..and if put in place the other 2 could not re-enter the game. IDK who the 3rd QB is for the 9ers now, but seeing Johnson only was signed a few weeks ago from another teams PS does it really matter???

The current rule you usually keep 3 QBs in the 53, but do not activate the 3rd on gameday (at least in regular season). The 9er's are literally on their 4th QB, so having another is not going to change much,
