2023 Mocks

I'm not crazy about CBS Sports 7 round mock for the Steelers.

1. Julius Brents - CB - Kansas State
2a. Keion White - Edge - Ga.
2b. Antonio Johnson - Safety - Texas A&M
3. Tyler Steen - OT - Alabama
4. Trey Palmer - WR - Nebraska
7. Thomas Incoom - Edge - Central Michigan
7b. Arquon Bush - CB - Cincinnati

 

What scares me is this might be accurate.

 

Shhhh...We dont want to jinx us.

 

That is just awful, and it makes very little sense.

 

I like the positions drafted, and when, but not the players.

 

I was watching the NFL channel live mock draft last night and to no one's surprise they skipped over our pick, and didn't talk Abt our player at all.. Can't remember the players name but he was the 1st OL of the board.. Porter was picked at 18 right after our pick

 

They had us taking Paris Johnson Jr. from Ohio State. That would be great but I don't think he falls that far.

 

Agreed. He pretty much is just like You said. No way they take Him at 17. If they do....they need better scouts.

 

Agreed. Brents is fine, but 17 is way too early.

I did it on Fanspeak On The Clock, and they were indeed available when I picked. In real life, I doubt it. It surprised me too.
Actually I think it will be hard to draft badly this year. They have enough holes that if their guy at one position is gone, they get another. I doubt that in the real world they could fill as many holes as well as my mock did. No way that happens in one draft.

 

here are a few not names jones or johnson that some are talking about for us. i was going to talk about one of these guys on here that has much upside Wayna Morris anyway. should be an option and since they are familiar with harrison and wright they should be familiar with morris as well.

Had us taking taking Paris Johnson, T, THE Ohio State. And I at first agreed, but when they went back and showed picks 10-18, I noticed they also skipped over the Cheatriots. I figured that was a wash. And, to be fair, I would take Paris Johnson over JPJ, too.

 

Yeah I really like Morris too. I had the Raiders in our mock draft and picked him up in the 4th round, I thought that he was a really good value there.

 

yea, i'm liking him more and more and especially at where we may be able to get him. actually fits our scheme and meyer. i'm liking some wypler too to fit with us. they have been looking at the 4 top centers. i wouldn't be surprised to see us grab one fairly early as well.
