yeah but he never had to look further than the first too many times unless he got quick pressure..his guys always get separation right off the line..lol
someone will probable pull the trigger on him late 3rd.

This guy has caught my attention. I think he may be there round 6 I will be watching him in the senior bowl as I think he is going to play. Spencer Burford UTSA roadrunners When I did my draft simulation twice he was there in the 6th round both times. Hoping you guys know something about him.

Not I my friend. Never heard of Him. Though I do tend 2 pay way more attention 2 defensive players. Plenty of time for us 2 all catch up on everyone of these players

he set the record for most single season passing yards and td passes in the FBS. teams will have to decide if he is just another college system QB or he can be coached up to play a pro system. as i siad , i dont see him going through a progression because he stays locked on to the first guy unless either he gets pressured or until he takes the check down. i dont know if that is by design or it is because his first read was almost always open. maybe he is just supper awesome at pre snap reads. but to me it looks like he has already decided from the snap.

Do you consider Miami of Ohio a bigger program?

i do but the key words are HUGE stats. Ben had a great year but wasnt a stat monster.

Steve McNair, QB, Alcorn State, 1994
5,377 passing yards, 47 passing touchdowns, 904 rushing yards, nine rushing touchdowns

    Bailey Zappe, 2021
5967 passing yds, 62 passing TDs , 17 rushing yds, 3 rushing TDs

    bens best season, 2003
    4486 passing yards , 37 passing TDS , 111 rushing yards , 3 rushing tds.

from 2002 to 2010 , texas tech and hawaii had the NCAA passing leader 9 out of 10 times. none of those QB's had a career in the NFL. thats the definition of system QB's. case keenum was the leader in 2009.

western kentucky has also had another guy putting up big stats in 2014 and 15. Brandon Doughty. how is his NFL career going ?

i like what i see physically from the Zappe cat, good arm, quick release, accuracy, fairly mobile , but he looks like a system QB to me.

i still think he will go late 3rd to late 4th round. too bad we lost that 3rd round comp. using house money on a guy like him wouldnt have been so bad.

I like Strong, but his mobility is a big question mark.

It'll come down the health of his knee, and based on reports, it's looking good

Anyone paying attention to my posts knows that I'm hoping beyond hope for Jordan Davis in the first, but I have a very close eye on UConn's Travis Jones in the 2nd or 3rd Rd as a viable consolation prize if we miss out on Davis,......
I have a close eye on BC's Alec Lindstrom at C as well since Linderbaum is a pipe dream

I’m a suffering UCONN season ticket holder, so I’ve seen plenty of Travis Jones. He’s nearly immovable in inside run defense. Very powerful. Very slow twitch. What you’re not going to see watching film is how often he was rotated out, and how often he looked winded after 2 plays on the field. I like the thought of him playing inside, especially vs. teams that run inside a lot, but in my view he’s a Day 3 prospect.

The combine will answer a few questions.... With Alualu coming back next season, Jones would be great in a rotation while he spends time participating in an NFL level conditioning program... By the time Alualu retires, Jones should be able to take over full time
