Or, maybe he wanted to be in Pittsburgh after all

No matter how you slice it, he turned down more money and even if you think the targets wouldn’t be there in KC, players don’t shy away from teams like KC, lol, come on man. Thats SB territory. Plus he’d put up major production anyway, the fact that they don’t have any wide receiver besides Hill hurts them. Watkins is always hurt and Hardman is a bust.

That team would be even more scary with Hill/Kelce/JuJu.

When Watkins played 14 games did you not see his numbers? And wow great on juju. He turned down an extra 1 million dollars to not be in a worse situation financially next yr. What a big move by him lol. And he will get more targets in Pittsburgh than anywhere else. He got big numbers as a NUMBER 2. He'd be an unquestioned THREE there. You're making it seem like kelce and hill don't eat during the season and everyone else eats because everyone focuses on them. No mahomes literally for most of last yr threw to them 2. Others got in where they could fit in. And if he wanted to be in Pittsburgh why was his agent contacting the eagles? The eagles weren't even interested in him. He and his agent contacted them. Why do that if you want to stay in Pittsburgh they more than likely had a offer for him before fre eagerly even started.

Except Watkins is always hurt, which I specified and his best season he barely eclipsed 1,000 yards. Wow. JuJu would get the targets in KC, you act like they dont throw to anyone but Hill and Kelce.

The fact is, going back to Pittsburgh isn’t as safe a bet as you make it out to be with Ben pushing 39 and a balky elbow and knees.

I’m enjoying today so much, the JuJu haters are miserable and making the most silly arguments, players are going to shy away from KC, LMAO :roflmao:

Now that D has been neutered, the offense will have to pick up the slack. Bombs Away Ben and big numbers for Juju, just the way they like it. Win-win. A 9-8 season with a 1st round playoff beat down. Another epic non losing season.

Ben likes boo boo. He will make sure juju gets his touches.

Look at the targets from kc last yr. And exactly Sammy healthy barely did anything in kc. Why? Because the targets primarily go to those 2. Kelce as a TE was about to lead the entire nfl in YARDS. Un heard of. He was not going to eat like he will in Pittsburgh there.

And lol the nfl world spoke for itself. His agent and him are the ones trying to make things what they are not. He just posted a farewell, repeatedly didn't think he was going to return, and now all of a sudden he never wanted to leave Pittsburgh lol. Everyone on this board is happy because these as fans of rwnchsies are the type of guys people like. Loyal and committed which is nothing wrong with that good for

This has to be one of your worst arguments. The guy who hasn’t broken a 1,000 yards in 2 seasons and has a QB being held by duct tape is going to bet on that over the Chiefs

Watkins had over 100 targets the year before, I doubt they would have brought him back if JuJu had signed. They might not bring him back anyway. There are his targets.

Playing for a SB team with a high powered offense with a much younger and better QB and a better HC is absolutely more in JuJus favor to play for.

No, those guys are actually analysis, you’re the hater and having a bad day :lolol:

Because people like him better than AB, AB is his idol.

Think about that, he hates on JuJu who is by all accounts a really good guy and likes AB and we all know about AB’s dirty laundry.

I can't say that I disagree with your take. I thought down the stretch Mahomes was suffering from a bit of Ben/AB syndrome and was almost going to Hill and Kelce too much. Against weaker teams that was shredding them, you get a DC like Bowles and defensive players like White, Barrett and so on they are able to limit those two and Mahomes couldn’t find the others. Heck Bell and SH should have been dual threats in the passing game and they just weren't utilized. However Blast has a point too as undoubtedly Juju would have given Mahomes a dependable receiver that could have freed up Kelce or Hill.

That's my biggest fear right now..... This draft is absolutely rich at wr, but we've now filled out our depth chart..... If juju doesn't resign long term after the season and chooses to move on with more bargaining power, then we not only lose him, but a chance at one of the many special talents in this draft

Agree. Washington is also a FA after the year. If they both leave next offseason they will be very thin at the position.

Ideally you’d draft somebody this year but the depth chart is full, unless they cut Ray Ray

Steelers depot has been predicting some of these moves for awhile, Vince being cut, Finney returning and the possibility of JuJu coming back .

It's funny reading Ravens fans complaining because they can't sign a top tier WR :lolol:, if a good WR goes to the Ravens his stats will suffer.

No Watkins did not have over 100 targets the year before and tyreek hill got hurt last year, missed 4 games, and still had 1 less target than Watkins.

and he wasn’t breaking 1000 yards with the chiefs. Lol Mitchell swartchz said the exact same thing he wasn’t going to get that.

you’re seriously overrating boo boo. That wasn’t going to raise his stock he would’ve had pedestrian numbers and been looked at as still a glorified 2. He can’t even make plays as a 1 and you think he was as a 3 to guys who combined for over 300 targets? He would have barely over 500 yards.

because people not even people just Steelers fans overrated him because of him as a person. I see the rest of the nfl seeing juju for what he is. It’s why AB also went at him. If people weren’t overrating juju trying to diminish who AB was he woulda never did that.

no one is double teaming juju and those guys still get free. The problem in the sb was mahomes didn’t have time to throw. I don’t care how open someone gets if their an can’t get it there.

what does any of that have to do with production on the football field? He’s getting paid and watched for that. Not his citizenship.

and here’s another reason. He shaded AB and said he was ready to be what he was but couldn’t do it.

I'm not talking dbl team just pulling a man off bracketing Hill or having a LB on the under route for Kelce and a safety playing over the top trying to shadow both. Going to leave a favorable match up in the slot. Watkins saw a lot of success with those routes. Heck going back to when the Chiefs had Hunt before his issues they were getting that favorable matchup with single coverage. Juju would draw some attention.
