He's the fourth highest cap hit on the team.

Nelson is making about 8 million this year, maybe they asked him to take a pay cut, the players have lost faith in Tomlin then why did Ben and JuJu decide to return?

Someone posted towards the end of the season the money that could be saved by cutting Vince, Haden or Nelson, not resigning Bud and other cost saving measures. The choice between the starting CB's was leaning heavily towards Haden being the one cut

I cant say that. I thought Diggs was a fool for going to Buffalo with Allen and look how he changed life for Allen. Maybe a receiver can do the same for lamar. Also would help hollywood, Andrew's, etc..

 maybe they lost faith in Tomlins defense don't know. But that's my belief, Jujju. Is getting 8 mill for 1 year, btw

Are you sure? I came up with that on my own. Didn't come from a former player.

He would be terrible for Baltimore.

I've seen several former players reiterate that same thing about Ben. But the Pittsburgh fans have had Ben blinders on.

Was telling the truth, wanted to stay in Pittsburgh. Same value, even a little less than the Ravens and still stayed home.

I'd have to agree with the statement that Baltimore is not a good fit for WR's unless you have Chase Claypool's size and can play TE otherwise they use one speed guy for deep routes and run the football. Not a good fit for Juju.

Dead money means it would still count against their cap, they wouldn't still owe him.

I like the JuJu signing because now WR is a lesser need in the draft, just draft one in the later rounds.

With the receivers in this draft, juju was not in a strong negotiating position

Nah...Haden's still the top Dog, draws the No.1.. Nelson got exposed and abused when Haden was out... I'll trust the Coaches!

It was obvious they Diggs would shine in Buffalo. Vikings wasn’t a good fit. Heavy ground game with Thielen competing for targets and Cousins as QB.

I agree with Alex on this, JuJu can go back to free agency in 2022 when there will be more money available.
