With the new format and with how bad the afc is 9-7 might get them to the playoffs
Chiefs by their standards have the easiest schedule by their standards. They may not lose a game.
Cannot beat that, even if the HOF game is played, the preseason schedule travel is hop, skips, and jumps.
I was going to post something like this in the rumor thread. Who we play was already decided, when we play was revealed. Leave it to the NFL to be able to pull of a 3 hour primetime event over the nearly obvious, lol.
I see us winning 0 games this season.
I also see us losing 0 games this season.
We beat Philly at home. Dallas is a toss up. We beat bills too. 11-12 wins
Hey Blast Furnace and everyone else.
I will keep it short and sweet which as most of you probably know is not my typical style (smile). Here I go: We are very, very talented all around. The "Big Elephant" in the room, what is our QB situation going to be like? A return of Pre-Injury Ben, with no setbacks, and we are a Super Bowl conversation center piece. I will not even comment about the opposite, except that in all likelihood we will be watching a rerun of last season's episode. With that said, it is pretty clear-cut and dry to me. Let us hope for, and receive, outcome one.

So I just don't get it how does the schedule get leaked? I am sitting down with the wife and son to watch the reveal show on NFL network and bam there comes an update and our phones. Me and my son's and their friend are on a group chat and all day we were messaging each others with thoughts and rumors. If I was the NFL I would be mad cause after I got the leak I changed the channel.
Anyways about the schedule I am so hopeful I will finally get to my first game and am targeting the Eagles. If some don't know my youngest son and his best friend(my 4th son) are Eagle fans. I hope financially it works out and I get to spend the weekend there. So with that said the Eagle game is the most important to me but cause where I live and who my friends are the Giants are a close 2nd followed by the Cowpies. If we could only win 3 games this would be them lol. I will say the Bills game is imports to me due to so many friends that are Bills fans and how they think every year they are great.
I do like our schedule and the way it is set up. I like the fact there is space between the Rats games and it isn't the last week of the season. Our back to back road games are both close by so that should help the team as well. You can't take anything for granted but we end the season with 3 of our 5 games vs "weaker" teams Wash, Cinn and Clev. Yeah I know the Clowns are a better team but until they stop being the clowns, well they are still clowns!!!!!!!!
If season even happens 10-6, will this be good enough??????
Had the Giants game been on a weekend, I would have definitely been there. Now, however, I have that built in excuse not to go.
Yes, with the extra playoff slot, 10 wins ought to be good in the AFC. Of course, it may mean the Chiefs or Ravens in round 1.
I've feeling that winning the Colts and/or Titans games will be great for a tiebreaker.
Brooke Pryor at ESPN - whom IMHO is a dropoff from the coverage of Jeremy Fowler- has them at 9-7 and losing both those games. Booo.
You apparently have double vision?
The week #3 MNF game will be the Chiefs at the Rats. This game will go a long way in deciding who gets the #1 seed.
Thank the gods we get Eagles at Heinz. Cowboys could lay a whoopin' on the Steelers. Steelers haven't beat Cowboys since 2008.
You make that sound impressive when it is two games in 12 years, one at Dallas and one at Pittsburgh. Both were decided by less than a touchdown with the OT game being decided by that Zeke Elliott TD run where the defense fell for the motion right and Zeke cut back left and burned them bad. Its not like the play twice a year and haven't won in 12 years.
I have family who are Cowboys fans... so I'm extra sensitive when the Steelers lose to them.
What I don't get is the big deal made about it. I realize that the current situation has left us with zero sports and really limited discussion topics but they were hyping schedule reveal parties and two hour podcasts breaking it down and in depth analysis. I don't get it they already knew the opponents and at least half of the games were home games. Ig will at least give SNR something new to broadcast because they have been wearing a hole in their draft day coverage.
Hey I feel for you my brother is diehard cowboys as well. SB30 in 95 was a bad year, our grandpa died the week before the game and had to listen to my brother gloat for a summer.
Yay! We get to beat up on Rivers with his new team!!
What I really like is they don't have to travel to the west coast. The furthest west they have to go is Dallas.
I bet you're extra-extra sensitive when the Steelers lose to the Cowboys because the Head coach inexplicably goes for and fails at four 2 pt conversions.
Yupp. It will.
This may explain your genetic disposition of pessimism towards your beloved Steelers.
Good to hear from you Jimmy, haven't seen you on site in awhile and always respect your opinion.
