    Guessing you enjoyed that. I'm not an NBA fan at all but pulling for the Lakers only because their Head Coach went to our local HS and we use to play cards with his parents. He was a braty kid back then always bothering us.

    Serious question. They showed one of the Chiefs D linemen doing what Collinsworth called the "push and pull" move. He bull rushes, then grabs the blocker's jersey and pulls him off balance. How is that not defensive holding?

    I've only seen defensive holding in that context be called on a defender who is preventing a blocker from disengaging to get to another defender (e.g. a defensive lineman holding an offensive lineman who is trying to get to a linebacker). I have not seen it get called on a defender who is trying to disengage himself from a blocker. Not sure if that helps.
