Why Cleveland's offensive line departures are being ignored are interesting to say the least. Baker can still be a good Quarterback; very good if he can click with OBJ and Jarvis. Question remains though as to will he have the time to actually throw to them or anyone?!

Defensively?! A lot of talent for certain. Vernon does not scare me as much as Garrett although he is likely to cause issues to any offense. Denzel Ward has to prove he can stay healthy. Sheldon Richardson can be hit or miss. Andreaz "Greedy" Williams is the wild card here; which one will Steve Wilks receive each week?!

Realistically speaking, assuming Lamar knows how to throw the deep ball, this is between Pittsburgh and Baltimore as I see it. Both have far superior offensive lines than Cleveland and both have defenses comparable, superior in some aspects even to the Browns the same. If Lamar cannot however, then it is between Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

Now, will Cleveland be a playoff team?! The AFC is usually wide open. I do see though some tightening within the AFC Supremecy. Pittsburgh, Kansas City and New England are still the Big Three but teams like Los Angeles, Indianapolis and the Texans are not to be trifiled with.

Nick Foles remains the wild card though for the entire conference and if Cleveland gets in though. Should he perform as expected, nevermind Cleveland. The entire AFC will be shaken up. If not?! Cleveland will be the wild card of the conference.

Please... give me some of what you are smoking. Indy, Jax, Houston and LAC all have better rosters and coaching than the Steelers. Steelers are not even top 5 in the AFC until they prove otherwise.

I'm sick of all the delusions. This team was destroyed by Jacksonville in the playoffs 17 months ago... didn't make the playoffs 7 months ago because they lost to the Raiders and Broncos and tied the Browns. This does not happen to a top 3 team in the AFC.

probably defense would be a safe bet, and situational coaching lol

just the top of my head I don't see them farting around to terrible teams when they need a win. not hating just stating lol

Agree with BBH. Defense and coaching are Steelers biggest weaknesses. This makes them inferior to NE, KC, LAC, Jax, HOU, IND.

Disagree with Indy. Darius Leonard and Malik Hooker. That is it. The others I can concede.

Steelers are #7 in the AFC at best. For all we know at this point... even the Ravens and Browns could be better.

True...but sad thing is Tom Brady is probably 2nd behind Ben in wins at Heinz Field ...ahead of Stewart and Maddox.

Iron Horse Ben. He hasn't been hurt in awhile. Kordell has to have more wins than Brady at Heinz Field. Unless he split his time between Three Rivers & Heinz, need to look it up.

I think about 6 of Kordell’s 8 seasons were at Three Rivers.

It's all about culture for Cleveland. If they've truly improved it, they'll be good. The talent and coaching is there, IMO.

Brady has 6 career wins at Heinz field. Tommy Maddox had 10 and Stewart had 9. Kordell had 8 of his wins in 2001 and lost his job to Maddox in game 4 of the 2002 season.

    PPG:
    indy-10
    pit -16

    ypg:
    indy-11
    pit-6th

    takeaway:
    indy-10
    pit - 29

    run D ypa
    indy -6
    pit - 9

    pass d ypa
    indy - 15
    pit - 11

Indy has a top 10 statistical defense and looked decent from the eye test. Pit is middle of the pack that folds in key situations, 2017 jax, 2018 oakland, saints, chargers, ravens, etc

The Steelers were "destroyed" by 3 points to a playoff Jacksonville team 17 months ago.
The Patriots lost by 11 to a last-in-their-division Jacksonville team last season.
They also lost by 16 to Detroit (last in their division).

The top 3 AFC teams all lost to division rivals (which the Steelers did not). That includes the Chargers losing to the Broncos.

The Patriots and Chiefs and Chargers are better, but there is some delusions about how other teams don't do things the Steelers do.

Not many teams were stopping Fournette that year. I had him on my fantasy team.

Only 3 visiting QBs have won more than 3 games at Heinz Field. Brady at 6-3 and Flacco at 6-8 have the most wins, Flacco has the most losses. Carson Palmer 3-4 is the other.

Several QBs have won twice at Heinz, the Jax twins- Bortles and Garrard - did twice in the same season, Andy Dalton, Phillip Rivers, Brad Gradkowski are the other ones.

Stewart and Maddox both won more than 6 games at Heinz Field. Maddox was 9-6-1, Stewart was 10-3

They will be Preseason Champs and the bandwagon will be by the truckloads. I doubt they win more than 6 games though. Still think they missed on Saquon Barkley.

If you are saying tops in the trenches I agree, unfortunately until we whip their asses Baltimore is still listed as tops from last year.
