Happy days happy days Matakeviach!!!!!!!!!
There ya go, NY!!
hey...who called it?
I feel so much better now......
great Pittsburgh LBer name..
I have been asking the last 3 picks.....lol!
I am so much gooder now!!!!!!!!!!!
Great way to end the draft!
I do like that pick- very reminiscent of former Steelers LB like Clint Kreiwalt and Jerry Olsavsky, and maybe better than both
Draft is over, my Atlanta Braves are the worst team in the history of baseball, what am I going to do the next 4 months?
I just texted my buddy the same thing! He'll be a fan favorite with that name.
ok time to rejoin society...good times fellas chat later
The draft is great, but talking it about it with you guys makes it even better!
Thanks for another great year of draft discussion and opinions.
Thanks for the great site, TTF!
See you all at Latrobe!
Some fa signings I would like are :
Love to get Striker. I know he is a man without a position but he is an emotional leader.
again I am humbled by the fact that I know absolutely nothing about scouting.lol I cant believe some guys got drafted where they did and some didn't get drafted at all. I had cash going in the 3rd lol. 364 days a year I think I am smart
We miss on some draft picks, win big on others but at the end of the day, The Rooneys know what they're doing. Excited about 2016.
He will have to go along way before he is better than Jerry O.
Quick question on draft grades, I know everyone has their own different opinions but I am confused. I use Walterfootball site a lot and they said this:
89. Javon Hargrave, DT, South Carolina State C Grade
Javon Hargrave makes sense as a third-round prospect. He was productive at a lower level, and he had the athleticism measured at the Combine to push him into Day 2. I just don't know how he fits into Pittsburgh's defense. I don't think he's a good fit in the 3-4, so he may have issues transitioning into Pittsburgh's scheme.
Now I watched the the draft special on ESPN and Todd McShay(sp) had Hargrave as his best pick in the 3rd round! How can these opinions be so off? Everything I have read on Hargrave has Steeler written all over him and really the whole 3-4 thing is a little overrated as the "sub packages" have taken the NFL over now. Is the guy from Walterfootball ignoring that and just basing his opinion on our 3-4? Thoughts.......
For the record I love the pick!
Walter Football Seriously, look into their (his) football credentials. I've found that the site is pretty decent for fantasy football, which is of course predicting stats based on statistical analysis of players and matchups (I read their FF rankings every week). But evaluating the talent of draft prospects?
