This I don't agree with. I'm not really pleased with the pick, but Fuller was the one player I wanted no part of. Burns' ceiling is way higher

Myles Jack would have been ready to play.

He certainly would've been available at 31 if they traded with Denver that's for damn sure. Second round talent from all I've seen.

Well.... What's done is done. I will now move forward as a BIG Artie Burns fan. I do see the long-term potential. Hope to hell he gets to his potential.

exactly, its not like anyone else was going to pick Burns, he would have been sitting right there imo. Just like Tampa did earlier

I don't get it guys. I mean we need help in secondary. he was best corner left on board. no way is he there in 2nd. we don't know if anyone offered to trade or anything. so he wasn't who the experts had listed as the best. he is our guy now and I am happy. I mean damn, am I missing a link to the steelers draft room to know what is going on? cause if I am I would like to have it

Even Andrew Billings was available...... this pick is worse than Jarvis on paper....

I sure hope Kevin studied his tape up well.

Waste? Really? I'm as not thrilled as anyone on here, but to write him off literally as he is selected is ridiculous

Well since they are saying that he's a "project player" then maybe this means we're gonna hit a homer in the 3rd since that's mostly where we've been taking our project players? LOL!

I doubt it. There's a waiting linebto play slot. Only way Burns plays is if he starts outside.

I like Burns but I'm disappointed. I think Jackson being picked right before us, by Cinnci no less, makes this pick more disappointing right now. If WJIII had been picked in the teens, this would probably feel better.

Actually, three of their analysts picked Burns. I guess they knew something we didn't.

The knee scares me, but his production on the field worried me too. I didn't watch tons of VA Tech games, but he got absolutely demolished two years in a row against Michael Thomas. I just wasn't impressed. He had the name on his jersey, I just didn't see the skills. I've been wrong before tho haha

How big are the opposing wideouts he will be facing?
