Boy that is the 1st time I think we ever took a penn state guy under Tomlin.

 

Yeah, not sure I like this one. First pick of the draft I can say that about. I wouldn't have had a draftable grade on James. Let's hope he uses that size for us and actually puts up some production

James is a nice size TE, has some athletic ability, he drops a lot of balls that you should catch. Watching him from Penn State

 

I'm not worked up, just would've preferred another player lol just don't see much in James that I like. Your boy Koyack was still available right? There were some safeties I would've liked better too. Who knows? Lol I hope this kid turns into a player now tho

My guy just told me that even if there, Tull was not being taken. Said that no matter how they liked him, they had a 6th round grade on him. Earlier the name Jesse James was brought up....My guy says he could be an option here. But he personally thinks the Steelers add Safety depth here, or a OL....He said the Steelers did like Matias from Florida State...we shall see.




He was saying that the Steelers do like James, and said he could be the option there. It was he giving ME what his own personal opinions are on who else they might be targeting. But James he said was on the Steelers board even higher then Tull was. So stop Razzing me guys....Please.

Besides Heath I don't know why we even bother having another TE. We never throw to them,might as well just use OL, in fact I think Villanueva would be a better choice.
