I totally agree. All these pass rushers won't matter when the opposing QBs can dink and dunk up the field like they always do because we seem to go out of our way to make sure our corners are the worst in the league. And we just have really boring drafts...

Still a ways to go but, if he is still there at 56...don't be surprised at all if
it's " Jake Fisher " taken by us. Big OT from Oregon.

 

Would you have preferred a huge reach? Or a big overpayment to move up? Rollins, Nelson, Williams, Darby and others are still available... We will still find a good player at the position. The draft just unfolded in a manner that made it tough for us to justify drafting a corner in round 1.

 

I will say this is setting up for us to double dip at olb Harold, OO, Gregory and Orchard. I want Rollins now but Coates could be in play as well. I am not upset about Rowe like most I wasn't high on him at all.

 

It seems like every team on the board was able to negotiate a trade for a player they wanted/needed why not us for a huge need?!

I would've been cool with Rowe in round 2... Oh well. Plenty of other good corners available, some of which have as good or better upsides than Rowe did.

agreed. I love how this is playing out. not an elite corner draft anyway. no separation from 5-15

 

From the different sources who reported they were trying to trade up...i think they did TRY...but never could strike a deal...it happens.
