Steelers met with Oklahoma FB-TE Trey Millard today. Millard tore his ACL in October. He played a big leadership role there.

@ 240 lbs.... its probably gonna be slow. I'm with NB, I like Evans' build much better.

Another WR that I really like on film is Jarvis Landry. He's got some big mitts at well. Kind of makes sense when you look at how reliable his hands are.

I've got to say, the more games that I watch from this past season, the more I like the depth of this year's WR crop. It's almost ridiculous how many big, strong guys there are in this draft that project as solid NFL receivers. I was really liking Mike Evans if available at #15. While I still like him a lot, I am now leaning much more toward filling other needs with a first round pick. I'm thinking corner, or like some have discussed, Kouy... Koko... uhhh... the guy from Alabama, however you spell his name ;).

One other thing. I've always liked trading down as a strategy, but this year I REALLY want to trade down in the 1st. I think there are 100+ players in this draft who could realistically grade as top 50-60 picks in most drafts, and I want as many of them as we can get. It magnifies my frustration at giving up our 3rd rounder this year - essentially - for Landry Jones.

TE bench presses have been updated. Niklas was no surprise...Amaro was though.

There are quite a few guys I like better, but I like Landry. I was pretty surprised at how much shorter he is than what he was listed at, though. I think he's an example of what Colbert was talking about the other day. Wanting guys who 'play tall' or play taller than they are. He needs work as a blocker, IMO, but his hands are pretty clutch.

Kounandjio looks like another Mike Adams doesn't have the foot speed to handle speed rushers.

smart on his part for the 3-4 teams that maybe had questions about his ability as an OLB. it should add to his ability in the quickness drills and his drops into coverage movements. he's got some long arms too I see. strip sack length. not that he really needed more quickness. the guys a freak of nature. several top 5 DC's salivating?

Xavier Su'a-Filo is a guy I like a lot. Looking forward to seeing him in drills. I expect he'll draw a lot of hype soon.

I just don't like lewan's body type. He's almost too cut. Much like nate solder. That being said, kouandjio's has had a terrible combine so far. He must have the stiffest hips I've evver seen. Very unfortunate. He may not have the correct athletic formula to be a great left tackle.

His 10-Split was 1.64, which is ridiculous. It's the number you want to focus on for linemen. Had a 29 inch vertical, too. He's showing some real explosiveness.
