While this upcoming draft is really loaded with top end talent at the CB position (Dennard, Gilbert, Verrett, Ekpre-Olomu), there really isn't any top end talent outside of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix in the Safety department... The Steelers will be in the market for a CB, maybe even in the first round. I also think that a Safety should be a target too since Clark will be gone, and all we would have left is Shark and Polamalu with little else as depth.

I know many are still calling for a LT early in this year's draft, but how off the wall would it be if the Steelers traded back and took Clinton-Dix round 1, and then took CB in the second like Fuller, Roby, or Joyner? IMO most of our immediate needs seem to be on the defensive side of the ball (FS,CB,NT,ILB,oLB), so a scenario like this could be plausible. Curious to hear what you all think.

I don't think there are too many off the wall scenarios outside of drafting a QB in the 1st or 2nd round. The reality is that this teams has needs everywhere. The good news with that is that we are in a situation where can truly take the BPA in each of rounds 1 + 2, and if those guys end up being DBs, so be it.
