    I LOVE THE SHAMARKO PICK! Yes, I am yelling! Kid is quick, can cover,tackle, and not afraid to hit something. I'm loving the draft to this point. L Jones? Career backup? Who knows, but I'm saying this now, these draft picks will see some playing time sooner than we think. Thomas could work into a nickel, dime guy for a year. Jarvis J will see a lot of action period. Bell, ask yourself why Dwyer is on the trade block? Exactly!

    Why would you ask if Ben knew he was the starter and not ask if JJ is going to get to compete for a starting job right away.

    On Landry Jones-

    We just simply thought he was great value there

    Great deal of experience

    Sharp guy, football junkie

    Did you call ben?

    Ben's a team guy...committed to whatever takes for this team to win...I'm in continual communication with Ben about those things and just about everything else

    On S Thomas

    He's fast and physical

    Great value

    Loves to play the game

    Chance to be core special teamer immediately

    On J Jones

    Had him as 6 or 8 special guys on this draft board.

    Position of need

    Did it at high level

    Comfortable at medical standpoint

    Health concerns were put to bed

    On Bell-

    Guy for all situations

    Can run it, has very soft hands

    Sharp young man, wired right for competition
