Man, why do we keep talking about Starks (Injury Prone), Colon (Injury Prone), Essex, Foster, Kemo, and Scott, PLEASE! Its time for some new blood. First of all, they need to draft a couple of stud lineman in the drafts first two rounds, or, get one great lineman as a free agent. They would have two starting lineman from the draft and or free agency and one good young backup.

    RT RG C LG RT
Rookie/Free Agent, Rookie, Pouncey, Foster?, Gilbert

Now is the time to get rid of the old guard to the tune of; Farrior, Hampton, Smith, Kemo, Foote, Colon (Injury Prone), Starks (Injury Prone), Leftwich, McFadden, Will Allen, Suisham, Sepulveda, Moore (Barron Batch is his replacement), Kapinos, David Johnson, and arnex Battle. With the drafting of two stud lineman or one free agent, its time to get rid of Jonathan Scott, Essex, Kemo, and Foster.

Lets move on with a youth movement and coach them up!!!!!!

I wrote this earlier in the thread:

"Let's be realistic. We have to cut a ton of money just to get under the cap. The chances we'll actually go out and sign a new guy of any kind are pretty slim. We don't even do that when we have money to burn. If we get anyone at all, it needs to be a position of need. What the hell are we going to do with Mike Tolbert? His only real strength is as a short yardage back, and Redman is at least as good as him, if not better. There's absolutely no space for him on the roster, unless you're dropping Mendenhall. You want him to replace Mendenhall? Replace speed with power, when you already have a great power back? I do not see the appeal on any level."

Would either of you care to address that? I'd love to hear the reasoning behind a 1-2 punch of two identical specialists. Why don't the Saints trade Mark Ingram for Reggie Bush? He and Sproles would be a hell of a 1-2 punch. Or maybe we can cut Shaun Suisham and sign the top punter available.
