This Dez Bryant talk about it not being a catch makes me think of the play where tone caught the pass and lost it going to the ground in the first quarter that would have given the steelers a 10 point lead in that game. No talk at all about that play.

It was 6 years ago, not to mention we won the game anyway. Why would there be talk about that play?

True what you would why would they talk about. the difference is that it was in the 4th quarter vs early in the game. Just thinking that it was the same call on both plays.

Neither do I. I don't think the rules surrounding a catch were so ticky tacky back then

What I remember is that I hate hairball because he is a little whiney b@@@h. Tone's catch was dissapointing, and similar to the TD from earlier in the season, in that it was close to the goal line. Thank God we won, they suck!

Strangely enough, that's the first thing I thought of when the play occurred yesterday. I knew it would be overturned because of it. It's a bad rule. IMO, the act of lunging for the goaline (and taking 2 steps in the process) constitutes a "football play." Apparently, the league thinks differently. It makes about as much sense as the f'ing tuck rule. Oh well, at least it was moot for our game.
