OK but I wasn’t talking about them playing the top seeds. I said we got lucky to not play Brady because well yea I don’t care if he was the 6th seed we all know.

This team isn’t very talented. When Cam Heyward shows his age it will hurt. Also somehow he will kill our cap a couple years after he leaves because of all the future contracts he will sign with the Steelers

It's your opinion that we got lucky that we didn't have to play the 4th seeded Brady. Instead they had to play the 3 teams that were better than him that year... all on the road

That was a hell of a run no doubt. Indy game was incredible Payton was in his A plus prime.

But if you think the Steelers were beating Brady in a playoff game sheesh don’t know what to tell you. Go watch a few of the ones we did meet up. Some teams just schematically don’t match up with others.

Still doesn't change the fact that you're speculating on what might have happened. Brady did have a lot of success against the Steelers, but he still didn't win every game. It's my opinion that no team would have stopped the steelers that year

You are correct it’s an opinion and he didn’t win every game but did win every playoff game. Agree to disagree on this but I’m sure glad we never had to find out and got the first SB of my lifetime! (Was born right after the 79 SB but trust me my father made me watch those NFL Steve Sabel films 1000 times)

Holy mother of Christ, there are some delusional AF homers in this thread. I may be more on the pessimistic side of the spectrum but damn, some of y'all are living in a fantasy world.

I was born in the sixties and became a fan before Bradshaw was even on the team. I've been lucky to see a number of games at 3 rivers stadium, Heinz field, on the road, and 2 SuperBowls in person.

The Steelers have had a non losing season since 2003. I don't think it's a lame stat.....if it was so lame many teams would do it. Add it to the Steelers are tied with the most SB wins makes it an even greater stat.

Dude teams below 500 have made the playoffs before this change.....Guess what....We weren't one of them. AGAIN PEOPLE....the non losing seasons started before Tomlin was even a HC here.....it's a Steelers stat....not a Tomlin stat....only Tomlin Lovers, and Tomlin haters say it's a Tomlin stat.

You are smart enough to know matchups play a big part. The Steelers couldn’t have had a worst matchup based on the defensive game plan they used against Brady every time! Once again look at the stats of our matchups with them.

I agree with matchups. I've stated this.....that's why I don't get upset about the whole NE thing. 90% of football is matchups. There is not a team in the league that doesn't have matchup problems.....hell our biggest problem in the last 7 years is We stopped worrying about our division, and only worried about NE. Just like Brady, and NE never beat Cam Newton, or Lamar but We always spanked them.. Its why Tomlin owned Andy Reid (in Philadelphia, and KC) until He got Pat Mahomes. Its why no matter how great the Patriots have been they still had problems with the Dolphins. It's all matchups.....again it's why I don't get upset about NE.

You said we beat the team that beat Brady in the playoffs. The team that beat Brady in that year's playoffs was the Broncos. In 2005, the Steelers didnt play the Jets at all.

You realize how ridiculous this crap is? Who the hell cares how they won the game, a win is a win. Tom Brady couldn't beat the Eagles backup QB Foles in the Super Bowl .

You made that statement about the year you were talking about, without mentioning what year, in the middle of a conversation about 2005

The same thing I said you only hear about that record from the media, or the loser fans that are waiting for Tomlin to fail, just so they can say I told you so it was all Ben.
