You realize that we are only 2 games from being 10-0 and pretty much already in the playoffs. It is a shame that against the Bears we forgot how to play football and against the Jags Ben went Blind!

Man thanks for starting this thread I had no idea.
I actually just got my Calculator out and double check the math and you're right.

You're so right Glenn (had to use my slide rule though) - extrapolating a bit and applying this same algorithm - I determined that with 8 more losses we'd be fighting with the Browns for the #1 pick next spring. :hmm: New math is better than Cheese Wiz!

What bothers me is the Bears game. That play when the kick was blocked, then the Bears lose the ball short of the goal line on the last play of the half.

If our player (forgot who) was thinking, knowing it`s the last play, he would not have swatted the ball out of the end zone and tried to recover it instead.

Had he done that or just did not get there in time to bat the ball, the Bears would not have got the untimed down on batting the ball penalty and those 3 points cost the game.

Neither team deserved to win, but something as random as that decided the game. I guess I`m just being greedy. We have had some luck this year. Lucky we won the Colts game. Lucky how some opponents have injured QB`s, especially this Green Bay game coming up.

    y'all mad?
I wish Rodgers was at QB for the Pack. The Steelers would be more focused. I fear the Steelers will show up "flat" for the next game knowing Packers are without their main weapon.

Really we should be 9-1. I’d say we should be 10-0, but the Jags beat Ben and the gang down. The Bears game we had no business losing. I guess it was because the guys were distracted with the anthem protests. I still think we should have won that game no matter what. All that said it comes down to can we beat the Pats. Our record hopefully gets us home field and we play them there. There is still 7 games left in the season so we shall see!

I predicted our Steelers to go 13-3 and this was before all the opposing Qb's being injured?

This is how confident I was with our talent level.

I tend to agree with this prediction. I need not ask which team is the other loss lol

And drafting Saquon Barkley first overall, it Marino and Unitias all over again. Oh the humanity, we'll just have to win it all to ease the pain

If I ever need a Guru I’m aiming for you.

Although, right now I would rather have a Gyro, and I’m going elsewhere.

It's the gyro jeh1856 deserves, but not the one he needs right now.

I hope that Bears loss isn't going to be the difference between a trip to Foxboro and hosting the AFCCG.

Given that both teams are 8-2, it won't be. The difference will be the December 17th game at Heinz Field. And quite frankly, if we can't be them at home in December what gives us reason to believe we could in January?

Well, the Jags game was just horrible. There's no excuse, we got beat. I do wholly believe that if we actually ran the ball and attempted to control the clock, we would have won. Ben just was horrible.

The Bears game was awful. We did EVERYTHING wrong and there was no reason/excuse for losing that game.

We were bad, Bears were bad, refs were worse.
