I know it's hard to find any positives these days but I'm trying to find bright spots going forward this season and beyond. I've been watching all the games multiple times, trying to iso certain guys.

First up, and I'm totally being serious, Marcus Gilbert. I know he started bad this season but he has really sured himself up. The MAJOR difference has been in pass pro. And that difference is, he's being far more aggressive in pass pro. So many times early on he was giving the DE way too much space. Allowing the DE to get a head of steam and walk him back right into Ben's lap. That also gave the DE a chance to make a move inside or out because Gilbert was sitting on his heels. Now he's being far less passive and taking much better angles. He's been solid in the run game as well. Getting a good push and sealing off the edge. This is a good thing moving forward.

The other is Cam. What a difference a year makes. He looks to be in great shape. This guy is eating up double teams almost every single play and holding his ground. When they're in nickle and dime he's on the nose getting doubled and occasionally tripled and still manages to occasionally get pressure. If he manages to only get singled up, he's eating the guys lunch. I think they should start using him a little more like JJ Watt. Moving him around, looking for favorable match-ups. I've been really impressed. This is another positive moving forward.

    Anybody else have any?

I posted something the other day that David DeCastro by ProFootball Weekly or something like that was rated the third best OG and since the debacle with Pouncey, he has been playing great ball.
