What day are we looking at having our 1st Playoff Game? January 13th or 14th?

Not sure that will be known until (at the earliest) after the week 17 games. Maybe not until after Wild Card weekend?

I don't think your going to find out until after the WC round.

Ditto above, it’s a function of the wild card game winners.

I will be going to it regardless of when it is, but I'd really like it to be Saturday. Saturday the 2nd game would be really good.

Last year, New England was scheduled into the Saturday primetime slot in the divisional round (which was known before the wildcard games were played). Something tells me this year won't be different....

Doesn't the 1st seeds in AFC and NFC usually play on Saturday for divisional round? Steelers will mostly likely be playing on Sunday.

I can only go from Bleacher report last year. Dallas had the #1 and got late Sunday. Only one primetime offering in the weekend. Can't imagine it not going to the Pats.....

A lot of it will depend on who the TV networks want.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME will be at 3:05 pm on Saturday the 21st.
If it's Heinz Field or not to be determined.
Sadly, I won't be at it, regardless.
Going to have to take a break skiing on my ski trip Utah to catch the game.

Enjoy the slopes!! I think both NFC and AFC Championship games are on Sunday. Might have changed but I remember watching the Eagles lose to the Cardinals and the watching us beat Baltimore all on a Sunday.

The championship games are all on a Sunday. Makes me very sad if we do host the game, and I'm on vacation. I went to the 2008 and 2010 AFC Championship games.

I prefer Saturday the 13th. Your opponent has one less day to prepare and then you have one more prior to the Championship game.

Now, for the aluminum hats. To me, it makes sense that the team that wins on Saturday plays the following Saturday. But it wouldn’t surprise me if the team that goes to NE played on Sunday that they draw the short week. Because Goodell.

For the sake of tickets, I wouldn’t be surprised either if they set the divisional round schedule after the games end this Sunday to allow for sell outs in all 4 stadiums. With a drop in attendance and ratings this year, that might make the most sense.

Only thing i can think of is look up previous years games and see if there’s a pattern based on seeding
