1st & Goal: Playcalling

The following is a post I made in the "Favorite Steelers Media" thread, and it contains the play from multiple angles and gets a good look at Kreider's devastating work, which he did on pretty much every play he was in. Our standards for what constitutes a good block have lowered so dramatically that people get all psyched when a guy like Johnson even makes contact with the player he's going after. This is how it should be:

Notice the block by Kreider. Not only does he blow Tillman back a few yards (and into Urlacher), but he holds the block for as long as he wants. DJ makes a usable block maybe half the time, but it only lasts for half a second so the RB better be exactly in the right spot, if DJ doesn't blow it.

I don't ever expect to see the likes of Kreider again, but I want a real fullback. Some people just don't know what a difference it makes.
