The Steelers are averaging 15 points per game this season, ranked 32nd in the NFL.

Coincidentally, absent some dramatic improvements over bye week 15 may also be the number of losses they finish with this season.

If TJ comes back they could beat the Saints in Pittsburgh after the bye. Besides that they could also beat Indy on Monday Night The Falcons in Atlanta The Panthers in Carolina The Raiders in Pitt and the Browns in Pitt. All of those games with TJ are winnable. Of course the Steelers are a terrible team so they won’t win all of those but maybe 2 or 3.

Remember last year when everyone went after Mason because we couldn't beat the Lions? Well, it appears not to have been Mason's fault at all. The 16-all tie was a component of the Matt Canada high-power offense.

What was the league average back then?
What is the average rookie QB scoring these days?

    19.3 in 1970 vs 21.9 in 2022

And it was way harder for a rookie QB at this time...Way harder!

15 PPG, the Steelers could play small forward for the Pittsburgh Condors.

Nothing wrong with 15 PPG, if the 1970’s Steelers Defense was here.
Or even the Defense from the last 2 season openers.

The NFL rules are a lot more offensive friendly today compared to 1970. That means 15 PPG today is worse than 15PPG in 1970

It don't help to have a clown on offense who can't call a play in the middle of the field for Johnson and Pickens(5 pass attempts combined in the middle of the field in the 10-20 yards range between both players)

But Tomlin continue to keep him....

I hope you are wrong. I prefer the highest possible draft position.

Watching other NFL games this weekend, i observed other teams and how their wrs are open. I am not seeing this with the Steelers. I am beginning to think we might be the worst team in the NFL this year!
Ive been a fan since 1965, I was way to young to witness the 69 Steelers, thank God. That said this is the worst Steelers team I ever witnessed, hopefully we can start improving the rest of this season. Go Steelers!

Did you watch the Packers game? They may actually be worse.
