Disagree with waiving Hrapmann. Apparaently, Tomlin believes that every player EXCEPT kickers and punters need to EARN their spot on the roster (Kapinos outperformed Sepulveda last year but was cut). Hrapmann seemed to have a strong leg and was booming the ball out of the endzone on kickoffs. He was also accurate when called upon. He was 5-5 on FGs and if I'm not mistaken those FGs were not the gimme variety. Most of them were 40+ range.

Anyway, let's just cut Suisham too and pick up Cundiff. I was rooting for Rolle too but it became obvious pretty early on that he would be one of the first cuts after camp. May be time for him to get out of the athletic arena and into the intellectual arena. Smart guy.

It would be a shame if Hrapmann goes, hoping he makes it. This list isn't official right?

I believe it is official. I also wanted to see Hrapmann make the squad.

No thanks. I'm not willing to get rid of a guy who we think will cost us in a big spot for a guy who already has cost his team in a big spot. It was only one kick but it was an easy kick in a high pressure situation. May not be fair to judge him like that but I'll stick with the guy who hasn't cost his team a trip to the SB, until someone comes along that is a definitive upgrade anyway.

No big surprises there except Hrapmann. He CERTAINLY earned consideration to make it to the last cut down - and based on Suisham's body of work over the last two years, there's nothing that says that he's the guy. VERY disappointed in that development.

This is a different Mcfadden, I believe you are thinking of Bryant Mcfadden who went to Arizona and then came back, however this is not the same guy.....either way, I dont think he was going to make the team either.

Looks like i agree with everyone else so far. Was hoping Hrapman made the cut too. Someone picked Suisham up last night at a FF draft i'm in and they asked me if he was still our kicker. I told him yes but probably not for long. Guess I was wrong by the looks of things :(

It's very unlikely we'll put a kicker on the PS.

You seem to be pretty upset that he missed that fg,

i think it's unanimous: we all wanted to see Hrapmann get at least one more shot this Thursday. he was one of my favorite players this preseason and that's saying something with a kicker.

If I remember correctly from that day, I don't think the miss was all his fault. I think the laces were not pointing anywhere near where they needed to be pointing.

I agree. Hrapmann isn't really a surprise. I don't think we really saw enough from him to replace Suisham. The coaching staff definitely didn't...
If something happens he'll likely be a phone call away.

i agree. we don't know how well he did in camp either. i don't hate squeez'em. just not a super strong leg but he's been kicking on our field for 2 seasons going on 3. i don't want 3's anyway.

the kid had lapses and went on some bad streaks in college. he's young and i don't think to many teams are going to show interest in him, so your right TTF he should be at home by the phone should we need him. these are good players to have in waiting. just like the vet longsnapper we cut, he should be there when the need would arise, and these guys would be at least familiar with our ST's now.

i saw ivy waived/injured though. what happened to him? i missed that.

O.K. The coaching staff didn't see enough - but they're willing to KEEP a guy who was LAST in the LEAGUE last year??!! I definitely do NOT agree with accepting the worst kicker in the league. Keep Hrapmann and if he's the worst in the league this year, at least you didn't backtrack.
