That's what it's going to take to get Home Field Advantage throughout the playoffs and still that might not even do it.

The AFC is going to be tough and I think whoever gets HFA throughout will make the Superbowl.

Question is. Can the Steelers do that?

Steelers can but probably won’t. I’ll be happy making the playoffs

They can, yes, but we are very inconsistent, so I'll be surprised if we don't have a couple more stinkers this year. Plus beating the Saints and Pats will be tough

I don't think that the union would approve of them playing 23 games.

Eventhough it's highly unlikely, it can be done. The Steelers need to just take it one game at a time. I have no doubt the Steelers will win the North. A bye week would be great. But being the 3 seed wouldn't be the end of the world. Just make sure you get to the dance and anything can happen.

Let’s get in and have someone else take out the Patriots in the playoffs. That’s what it took the last three times we’ve made it to the dance.

Correction -the Patriots didnt make the playoffs in 2010. Still, we will need another team to do the dirty work for us this year IMO.

Steelers are playing great ball at the right time of the season. They gave me a double win last week by winning by more than 4 points and by exceeding the over by a large margin. The thing I did wrong was splitting my normal bet of 1,000 into two 500 dollar bets when I should have just doubled my weekly bet and bet 1,000 on the win and 1,000 on the over/under.
I am just going to bet the 1,000 on the Steelers to win this week at Jacksonville regardless of the points. I will either get a couple of points or give a couple but either way it should be a good bet in my eyes,
The Steelers have convinced me they are worth a 1,000 bet to win the SB at 8-1 so I'll place that bet when I bet the Jacksonville game.

Well we did win a Super Bowl being a 6 seed and if we are peaking one never knows. I still say the division comes down to week 17. The Bengal game will be like a playoff game for the AFC North. We win and get in as a 4 seed with a 10-5-1 record.

Atlantic City just got sports betting so I am going to do the same but being an avid Pirate fan I'll just lose any winnings by betting on the Pirates with odds of a billion to one:)

I still think the Steelers will worst case scenario finish with the 3rd seed and ahead of the Texans in the AFC South assuming they win the division. That last wildcard spot is wide open right now between teams like the Bengals, Ravens, Dolphins, and Titans.

Having home field advantage doesn't mean much, the Jaguars dropped 45 on them last year in the playoffs. We know New England has no problem winning in Pittsburgh, 13-2-1 that's not happening the schedule is too tough.

2nd seed is more likely after they beat the Pats. With the tie they won't tie any of these teams in the standings, however, it gave them 1 less win.

If Titans can win today and Steelers beat Pats, 12 wins will secure the 2nd seed.

Gotta beat the Raiders before we talk about 13 wins.

Chargers and Saints are looking good. I don't worry about those teams. The Steelers will bring it with everything they have. It's these cheesy teams like Broncos and Raiders that scare me.

    Kansas City Chiefs

    New England Patriots

Just those two let sink in. Very tough teams that as of late and beyond for the patriots have our number.

With that said, let's go get them.

There's a number of great teams in the NFL, but the Steelers are mine. Corny yes but whatever.

    They can do it.

Not gonna happen. Even if we win out, where the hell is KC losing two more games?

Just curious, how has KC had our number? Tomlin lost to a Reid coached KC team for the first time this season.

New Orleans is going to be a tough game. I want to see nothing more then beating the Cheats to get the stench off. I believe the AFC will have to go through Kansas City though.

Home field throughout is pretty much over now. No way the chiefs lose 2 more games. We can though get the 2nd seed but that will be tough as well.
