You must have been a pile of fun through the 80’s and 90’s

Actually... I was fun during that time.

Steelers crapped an entire decade down the sh!tter in the 2010s. So much potential, all pro caliber players and HOF QB wasted, while Patriots racked up 3 more Super Bowls. We should all puke in unison.

Would have won 3 or 4 had the Steelers just drafted him. I think about that 90's defense with Marino at QB alot. Man, it would have been an amazing decade.

Putting teams away is an NFL problem. Not just the Steelers. Teams are so worried about the big play and getting PI's, it makes them play safe too much towards the end of games. I was with you for a while but then I noticed almost all games play out the same way. It's a frustrating game now with Goodell's rules.

One rule change that would help defenses catch up is make PI max 15 yards. That would help defenses play aggressive again but the NFL ****ers just want offense.

Star QB will always make the head coach look better. Case in point in New England. You go from Tom Brady who eats, sleeps and drinks football, to a jackass who thinks more about his cross-dressing hair and clothes in post game interviews then making consistent plays during the game.

I have been hard on Tomlin for years because of the little things he's done, or I should say hasn't done. But winning 8 games last year without an NFL quarterback was pretty crazy. He has coached well this year. Probably the best since 2010 but probably better than ever.

    That statement is entirely non-PC!

Newton has to eliminate the negative........accentuate the positive...........thus.......don't bring game when you don't have one, just bring weird cause you're good at it!

I like Mike Tomlin but there is no comparison between the teams he and Chuck Noll inherited. Or the one Bill Cowher inherited for that matter. There were only three starters left over from Bill Austin's last team in 1968 to the Steeler's first playoff appearance against Miami in 1972. Center Ray Mansfield, right guard Bruce Van Dyke and right linebacker Andy Russell. He basically rebuilt the entire roster in under four years and laid the foundation for a dynasty that dominated a decade. I'm all for defending Mike Tomlin against many charges, but Chuck Noll started from scratch.

Both teams were punished by the football gods in the era for Danny not coming to the Burgh... They were placed in purgatory both oppositions left to search for the missing ingredients hahahahahha

Its a nice feat but nothing matters but the next win.

Heinz is right, 10 years gone with the franchise QB Ben under center, and a Defense in shambles.

This could be a magical season. If Tomlin goes undefeated and wins the Super Bowl or at least wins the Super Bowl I will stop calling him Popcorn.

That being said I feel that this is his best coaching job this year.
