I don't understand why the record is his shield-all regardless of how crappy he calls it. We are ranked terribly for scoring offense and played mostly crappy teams this season. Yes, 12-4 and fire Arians, except I'm being dead serious.

Our offense has been terribly inconsistent scoring points the past 5 seasons, yet we still remain competitive (thank you, defense). We can do better at OC.

    :FBAI!:

Needed to use that at least once.

Forget our record. Forget yards. Is anyone actually happy with this offense?

    Crappy teams?

Six divisional games against top 10 defenses, plus one of the hardest schedules in the NFL

Only way Arians leaves if he gets a head coaching job somewhere or he retires.

    The last 5?

Try the last 8. KW scored as many PPG as Arians.

Thanks to the #1 total defense in the league and I think after today the #1 scoring defense, and oh yea, the #1 passing defense.

If we have a mid-pack defense, we are 8-8 at best. Let's hear it from all the passing league guys now. Our offense strives for mediocracy and cannot put up points.

I'm so glad you're content that the Steelewrs have scored a grand total of three TDs in the past TEN QUARTERS with Ben under center.

Newsflash: New England scored that many in the 4th quarter alone today vs Buffalo.

I hope that puts things into perspective.

New defensive back coach made a huge difference in the secondary. A new OC might make just as big a change in our red zone offense and in our offensive efficiency. 12-4 thanks to the defense and in spite of the offense.

We're closer to a mid-pack defense than you think.

Jackson. Kolb. Painter. Gabbert. Palko. McCoy. Clemens. Wallace.

That's the list of "terrifying" QBs this defense went against in 2011.

Steelers need a better OC to take advantage of all the weapons they have

Thank you for fielding that one :roflmao:

Whiz did that with a young inexperienced QB and a fraction of the receiving core we have today.

    Lies. Damn lies, and statistics.

Our schedule was soft. We played mostly creampuffs all year. And we lost to 4 of the "playoff" teams we played.

KW did it with a different mindset. The Steelers score roughly the same PPG with a smashmouth, ball control style as this finesse, pass-happy team does now.

    This offense has no identity.
