I personally don't think any of the receivers are 1st round quality this year...they all have too many question marks. That being said, if the guy we take is big and physical, catches with his hands, and refuses to lose jump balls....I am okay with him.

That being said, I still think we go OLB, WR, then S in this draft as S is really deep. OL, TE, and RB should also be looked at in other rounds.

i agree the steelers will draft a most sure thing in rd 1 , and there is no wr sure stud , so i hope the find one good later . problem we need one that can start from day one , brown and sanders are too small expecially if miller is not ready in septmeber , maybe cotchery can pair with brown

personnally, i don't care if they are only 6-0 or 6-1 if they can get up and are built. hines wasen't big but he was built well. 200lb. guys or better would be plenty big to out muscle CB's and safeties. if they run good routes and get open they don't have to play throw it up jump ball. manny sanders runs good routes. if ben has time he can hit them. the new line should be able to help out.

you must not have seen him on the field much this year then. is highlight reel is impressive but i can make one twice as long with screw ups, wrong routes, and quitting

I like Patterson too, also Hopkins, Patton and I'd be willing to role the dice on Justin Hunter, if he can fully recover from his torn ACL it sounds like he'd be a home run.

12 games 73 catches for 1'083 yards. I'd take a chance on him, with his size he'd be a big redzone threat and he's still fast enough to stretch the field.
