It seems we keep doing the SAME things OVER AND OVER AND OVER and it never works. You know the whole insanity thing.

THROW THE BALL DOWN THE ******** FIELD! What is it with these constant screens, end arounds and reverses that take 10 secs behind the line of scrimmage to develop. And then on defense once again we don't have the corners staying up on their man. It is absolutely so frustrating!

I sympathized with the OP in the first half.

    The second half was glorious.

Now I want to see a whole game of that. :)

    Me too :towel:

Really? For me, just the first few series, up until Worilds hit Newton, after that, loved every minute.

Ok, maybe not the WHOLE half. (On defense anyway) ;)

that was actually an extremely fun game to watch .. Still nervous until Golden recovered the fumble on the kick off. Then and only then did I feel like it was a lock.

The defense played amazing lights out football. Nice change. Watching Newton run for his life was the highlight of my evening

It's those games that we constantly settle for 3's and end up losing by as much that drive me nuts. I love these types of games

It was a beautiful thing to watch!! I was frustrated on the first offensive drive when Bell was cutting them up and we stopped giving him the ball. Other than that, we showed what we can be!

I actually had a great time watching the game last night after the first quarter or so. It was nice to see performance and effort from both sides of the ball, I loved how many times we got to Newton, and seeing Ben have some flexibility in play calling made me happy. For once I didn't walk away feeling depressed and angry!

I'm happy any time I can sit down and watch a game. A winning game sure does make Monday a whole lot better!

I suspect that Scrap got less and less frustrated as the game went on. :herewego:

You got that right. It's great to not have to stress until Wednesday when I start worrying about our next opponent. In this particular case, how I'm sure we'll blow our home game against the crappy Bucs.

I enjoyed the whole game. I was a bit frustrated that the offense kept settling for field goals in the first half, but I was happy they were up. Overall, I thought it was a great game in pretty much all phases: Offense, Defense, Special Teams and Coaching.

It was very enjoyable for me last night. I was afraid Newton's ability to scramble would really hurt us. Instead our defense was aggressive and attacked him and hit him the entire game. And he took some big shots and thankfully legal ones. I was not super comfortable until we scored off their special teams blunder but watching Bell and Blount just run around, through and over that defense was fun.

If our lines can continue to improve and stay healthy we will not be a fun opponent come year end.

Hopefully we see that same gameplan this week. Except I would love to see us jump on Tampa early and bury them. Don't let an inferior team hang around and grow in confidence...

Reminded me of why I love watching this team play.

    Some classic Ben moments.

Hard running with some great plays (and great hurdles by Blount).

    Aggressive defense.

Like others are saying, we're still not there yet, and it wasn't perfect. But it was a team that was a pleasure to watch in transition, rather than a team that didn't look like it knew where it was going.

Forgot to add - props to the o-line. They established those big runs.

I'm pretty sure that was the first game in a long while that I made it through without using a bunch of expletives. I do have to admit I kinda missed it though...:smiley1:

I hate it when the refs throw a flag on questionable calls it ruins the viewing experience. They screwed up in the Ravens game those PF flags on Polamalu and Mitchell were good hits, because the league didn't fine them afterwards.
