Chuck Noll helmets

Our helmets this year will have a "CHN" decal on them. I wondered if they would do this and I'm glad they did. It's really the LEAST we could do! Here's the article.

It's amazing to think there was only 1 coach between him and Tomlin.

 

When I first saw the CHN logo, my brain read "Chin" and I thought they might be honoring Cowher, too.

Glad to see they're doing this. Noll was my first Steeler's coach (like many of us, I'm sure), so he'll always have a special place in my heart for Steeler Nation.

 

Boy I'm glad I'm not the only one, that thought that too.

I think the decall should have just been NOLL.

Then no confusion.

 

LOL! That would be hilarious! I personally think to honor him there should be a silhouetted character with a big chin and some spit spouting out. LOL.

If they did that, I would have been wondering why they were promoting chicken.

 

Is this the emblem they're using? I searched and there were a couple of different ones, but none of the sites with the article that I found had a picture.
