Damn, So'oto cut. Thought he'd get slipped to the practice squad at least. Liked his moves rushing the passer.

He very well could if no one else picks him up. I thought he earned himself a roster spot personally.

I thought the TE, Waters, was doing a decent job. No?

I think Paulson stays now. he seems a lot more focused than last year. this is year 3 and maybe starting to turn the corner slightly more than the mess we had last year. now he can learn from heath and spaeth. heath may not have been as good of a teacher last off season to him trying to rehab himself. that should change for Paulson this year.

So'oto, looked like he had some upside. Hopefully, other NFL scouts are asleep, and we can get him to the Practice squad.

What the heck they see in Carter is beyond me.....Time to move on! They moved on from Woodley and Harrison, why the hell keep him?

Man I hope we can get Waters onto the practice squad as I think with some time he could be a very good TE

I think it's just another example of not buying into these camp reports too much. I'm guilty of that myself with JB, given how he has performed in the preseason so far, he's not quite living up to the hype now.

Must be run defense, because it definitely isn't pass rush.

Actually Vic So’oto looked better pass rushing in games than Howard Jones as well. So’oto and nice speed and really great handwork.

Howard Jones looks has the athletic build and potential, but so far he has only recovered a few fumbles.

    really surprised.

HoJo has also performed very well on specials.

True. I thought both So'oto and Dangerfield would stick around longer.

One of the beat writers said that cutting So'oto means HoJo has a chance to make the 53.

Exactly, I don't know why they continue to waste time on carter. So'oto has been one of the few consistent players in preseason. Maybe Dangerfield will make the p.s but not So'oto

So'oto is definitely a surprise to me. Thought he'd atleast make it to the next round of cuts. Maybe cutting him early so he slips through and can make it onto our PS.

I haven't seen or heard much, but thought Dangerfield was making some plays. Practice squat opportunity I suppose.

Any thoughts on Spence? So the latest is that he'll miss 2-4 weeks for the other knee recovery..... is he really going to be worth a roster spot at this point? Just not sure how he's been doing so far.

I'm not sure if he has any eligibility left.

He is practice squad eligible. I can't go digging at the moment, but I'm not so sure he even has 1 accrued season. I know he doesn't have 2 though, so he'd qualify under the new rules.

Well, he is our top back up at ILB... And the only one capable of doing what Timmons and Shazier can athletically. Garvin is kinda a swing backer and ST player, and Williams is too athletically limited particularly in the passing game to warrant being an every down player in the event of an injury. If we cut Spence, we have to be okay with him being on another team's 53 man roster. No way in hell he gets cut. We didn't hold onto him for two years for him to come back, look good, then axe him lol

No surprises in the last 6 cuts, Arnfelt was outplayed my Mauro.

Arnfelt really let me down. I was on his high horse going into pre-season, but he looked like he took a step back over last pre-season.
