Between these three guys Big Ben, Cam Heyward, or Cortez Allen, I think Allen he would be the cheapest to re-sign. They don't want another Keenan Lewis situation where he plays good in his contract then leave as a free agent. Then after the season they could re-sign Ben and Heyward who are both under contract through 2015.

I say get Heyward signed ASAP. After this season, he will cost a lot more than he would cost right now. I'm much, much less convinced that Cortez will have the kind of season that drives his price way up from what it would be now.

Heyward. Agreed about Cortez. Think he is definitely a piece of our future at CB but not sure he is going to really drive up his price. If he does then perfect because then he had a terrific year. Ben will not get done until next summer I believe. Unless they really need to free up cap room to sign someone they didn't expect to get cut in training camp.

we have two big dead money hits this year in Woodley and colon still. next year colons is done and woodley's goes up. we have more money than we thought left over and getting worilds signed would help that number a lot more. that's 3 guys we have a lot of money tied up in right now. near 14 mil and only one of them is here. that's not counting their replacements. if worilds was done, we may see heyward and tez get theirs, leaving ben for next year.

I'm hoping Tez because all we need is to miss out on a player in our secondary AGAIN.
just seems to be more in reach at this time to secure Tez first

:this!:They should get Allen done now before the season, his price may go up after the season. It will probably take a contract similar to what Keenan got from the Saints.
