With this void in time let's play a Steelers trivia game to fill the time a few days before camp starts.

As before if you know the answer give it then ask the next question. If you're not sure of the answer wait until its verified before asking the next trivia question.

I'll start it off with one EVERYONE BETTER know so 1st correct answer gets to continue it.

--What team were the Steelers playing when the "miraculous catch" -( that was for you Myron-- ) ...... Immaculate Reception happened and who made such catch?

This should be fairly easy. Before Knoll was hired who turned down the Steelers?

Yep, about a year ago a new poster came aboard claiming to be a longtime diehard Steelers fan and when he mentioned the Miraculous Catch as his favorite play you lit into him with both barrels for being a troll...............

You sir are correct, it was Unitas, he won SB 5...... Mac could be also correct but Dawson wasn't let go as the question was put but instead traded away.

    Myron, question please.....

    Ackron Zips is correct

The Akron Zips football (formerly Buchtel College and formerly nicknamed Zippers) team are a college football program representing the University of Akron in the NCAAFootball Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of college football. Terry Bowden is currently the team's head coach. Akron plays its home games on InfoCision Stadium on the campus of the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. The Zips compete in the Mid-American Conference as a member of the East Division.

Not sure now. This looks like a college team still active??????

Got it but will not let me copy so here is a link
