That mock is fan candy. Fuller is my number 3 corner, and I think Gilbert and Dennard will be gone at #15. I imagine 6 or 7 corners will be selected before the Steelers pick in the 2nd.

I guess I like it. But (isn't there always a 'but') I'm still trying to figure out if I like Fuller over Dennard, especially at 15, and I'm seriously having my doubts about Benjamin, especially with Kony Ealy still on the board. A position of need, and expected to go top 14, and still there at 45? I'd be running to the podium. WR could wait for round 3.

If Dennard and Gilbert are gone at #15 they should try to trade down, they can get Roby or Fuller later in the 1st.

Almost everybody wants to trade down. Chances are, it's not gonna happen.

if it's a good player like fuller or roby or verrett, or whoever it is, when they are making plays on the field for a team people aren't going to be thinking he was drafted 3 or 4 slots to high or low. they will be saying boy I'm glad we took him. the value is what they do for your team, not where they are taken.

So sick of hearing how Pittsburgh has promised Ben a big WR. First of all, the Steelers don't discuss that stuff with ANYONE, so no one can say that and secondly, they don't make up their draft board to appease Ben. They didn't even talk to him about what OC they were looking at and fired BA whom he wanted to keep. Ben doesnt have as much pull as people like to pretend, definitely not about personnel decisions anyway. He wanted to keep Sanders too, wheres he at? Oh yeah, he's at Denver now. He lobbied for Cotch, wheres he at? Let me think, oh yeah, Carolina.

The Steelers will draft who they think will give them the best chance to win and thats it.

No way would I take Fuller over Dennard if both are available at 15 and I'm a Hokie fan. I would not take Benjamin in round one but would be okay with him in the second.

You got me thinking on that pressing need through the NFL. The Seahawks model will be copied. I feel like indirectly you are saying a CB in the first or we get screwed out of atleast a staring caliber CB in the second.

Gilbert Dennard Roby Fuller in the first or not again til 3 rd or 4th. Desir?

The Steelers need to talk to the 49ers if they want to trade down.
