    Here's mine.
    5. Building Heinz field without a closed end allowing the noise to escape. It's like replacing a roaring lion in a jungle (TRS) with a kitty cat.
    4. Steeley McBeam. I don't know why but the mascot is just weird the way they made it look like the Chin.
    3. Drafting Limas Sweed in the second round.
    2. Not resigning Rod Woodson only to watch him win a Superbowl with the rats a few years later.
    1. Not Drafting Dan Marino.

The Steelers want Woodson to move to safety and he wouldn't. He moved on and moved to safety.

Over the past several seasons one thing ( could be lumped together ) is some of our draft picks and when we drafted them. Matt Spaeth in the 3rd rd? Never understood this one. Taking a punter in the 4 th and actually TRADING UP to do so? (DS the guy who already had knee surgery in the 4th?) Last season Landry Jones in the 4th? Mind boggling! We had holes to fill and they draft a guy that will NEVER see the field (at least I hope he doesn't because that means bad things have happened) the draft is a crap shoot, it is gambling with players not chips, but go look at all the talent passed over for just see 3 guys! Allowing Woodson to leave. Definitely a top 5 mistake. That's just a few I wished to mention

    No particular order
    1.) Letting Faneca walk
2.) Wasting multiple draft picks on terrible QBs (Omar Jacobs, Dennis Dixon, Landy Jones)
    3.) Passing on Marino
    4.) Drafting Troy Edwards
5.) Cutting James Harrison twice early in his career

    Some good choices here!

Letting Faneca go can often seem like the beginning of the bad times for our o-line. But remember that, by all reports, he was being an ******* in the locker room. Can't remember what about, but he definitely remember that he was stirring up trouble, and perhaps one reason why the team were happy to let him go.

With 2, it's not that they were terrible per se, but that taking a QB at that point in the draft seemed odd. Jacobs never really saw any playing time (believe he was cut in camp?), Dixon was a 'project', but wasn't utilised as such, and Jones... well, to be fair, the jury is definitely still out.

Landry Jones had the 3rd highest yardage in college football history. The rap on him was that he played strictly in a spread. We saw little of him except a few preseason plays and I doubt if any of us knows how much he improved over the season. We'll see more this year but if you get a solid backup QB the 4th rd ain't bad.

He was upset about Russ Grimm being passed over for head coach for Tomlin and then had zero respect for the guy Tomlin hired as OL coach to replace Grimm. By all accounts they pretty much blew off everything Zerilien(sp) told them and Faneca was the defacto coach in the lockerroom.

    1) Passing on Dan Marino

    HUGE gap, then:

    2) Letting Neil O'donnell walk (go ahead and kill me, but it's the TRUTH)

    Big gap, then:

    3) Letting Faneca walk
    4) Donnell Woolford
    5) Douche Staley

As someone stated before, Faneca did not just walk. He was an ass-hat when Grimm wasn't selected for HC and was stirring up the locker room

Yep, that was what I was remembering.

I couldn't remember if it was something to do with Ben at the time as well. But it was definitely a move that had to be made.

I know, I was just quickly looking for fillers after spots #1 and #2. Didn't want to participate if I couldn't come up with the required 5 moves. ;)
