Looks like we're pulling a "Belichick".... sign a guy merely for the purpose of extracting info about his former team...

I thought we'd make a push to sign him after the draft. I think we had him in for a visit.

I did hear that Gardner can throw a boulder through a plant pot from 600 yards.

I think the comment that his stay in Pittsburgh wont be any longer than his stop over with the patriots, says it all...

hmmm, waived a 6-4 receiver that runs a 4.30 for a 6-4 receiver that runs a 4.70. I had higher hopes for Washington. he was pretty good at mizzou. definitely a weight difference in the two though. I also read that gardners stay wouldn't be long. I think they like the kid mel steered their way.

I am tired of the Steelers attitude toward (novelty type players) we can't afford these type. Some capable football player is losing a job because of these type of players. It's got to stop.

Because converting quarterbacks to wide receivers has done so much detriment to the team in the past. It's not as if one of those types ever one SB MVP honors or threw a crucial td pass in a big game.

Good points. IF those things had happened it might be a different story, but that's just crazy talk...

Holy crap! It appears as if i dont know the difference between won and one anymore. Apparently working 60+ hours in 5 days takes a toll.

He's definitely a longshot to make the team, they also have Tyler Murphy Boston College QB I thought he was also switching to WR.

Point well taken, Is Devin open to making the switch? Or will it be another (slash situation).Where the player thinks he should be a QB? I was thinking of the Rainey's/ Archer's of the world.

    1. He's open to it.
    2. He'll probably be among the first cuts in camp, if he makes it that far. He's not costing anyone more deserving a job.
