Thanks, Mac. I'd assume the scheduled meeting was the recent dinner with Coach T, and Colbert. I'll keep an eye out for a visit.

I like a number of those players. Iespecially like Golson if we take him as a double dip pick at corner. The guy is a turnover machine, and despite his size is not afraid to tackle. I think he has the potential to be a top tier slot corner.

I'm intrigued by Emanuel as a late round prospect, and need to watch some of his film.

Safe to say we will be adding an OLB and CB, obviously. I bet they go with 2 CBs.

Yeah Golson is legit and I wouldn't shy away from picking him. He's not the 6-footer a lot of people want but he's got talent.

lots of talent off that N.D.St. team the last 3 years. they lost like 1-2 games i believe in that span. crockett the rb is a pretty good prospect from there. if you get a chance to watch them elvis.

Div. III Offensive lineman Ali Marpet had a private workout witnessed by the Steelers. Not sure if this counts as a "visit".

What's everyone's take on Auburn's Sammie Coates? Not sure about the guy.

It doesn't, but I do like Marpet. Poor man's Zach Martin with longer arms.

yes, tough one. But I'm not the best with judging WRs. I didn't like Bryant last year, and looked how that turned out. (I did have Jordan Matthews in the 2nd for my last mock, and I'm still ticked the Steelers didn't take my official man crush guy last year - Abredderis from Wisconsin lol).

But on the second link you posted, did you see the Cedric Thompson highlights listed to the right of the Coates film? Guy just makes plays. Would love to throw this guy in the mix for safety in the mid rounds. Many sites have him projected 6-7-UDFA.

If you had to choose between Coates and Tre McBride (W&M), who would you take? If both were available in the same round. Say the 4th??

he's a body catcher. Richard mann would have to put time in with him but the dividends could pay off. I think sammie will drop in the draft because of the body catching. not unlike Bryant did last year. 4-5 round possibly.

He needs the Richard Mann hands-on treatment. Could be a little raw yet, could be some focus issues. A later-round flyer? Why not?

/Mac beat me to it! I can't think and type at the same time! Takes too long!

There are some things about him that are just bad wide receiver things from a technical standpoint. I did like the Bryant pick, and probably said Jordan Mathews' name last year more than Chip Kelly did.
I didn't see the Thompson highlights, but I'll have a look later. I'm not familiar with him.

:) I like Grant. When we voted for the Steelers 2nd rounder, it was a toss up for me between Grant and Rowe.

I'd have absolutely no problem with rowe, grant back to back in the 2nd and 3rd.

and yes cedric Thompson is a nice looking safety. I mentioned him awhile back. good speed too.
