I don't think either team will destroy the other team. I think Seattle will win a close game.
Too close for me to bet much on. I feel more comfortable betting fairly heavy on the over of 48 points.

Thats just what I'm hoping for, unfortunately, I think NE is going to win but now that they are under the microscope and playing on a level field (we think) maybe things will be different.

This is why if you believe in a higher power, in a God, or in karma, New England will pounded on Sunday. That organization is the most ethically and morally bankrupt franchise in all professional sports.

Personally I don't believe there is any foul play here. I just think Blount acted the way he's prone to act, and he got lucky that the Pats were there for the rebound. Sucks seeing him do well there.

This part of the article summarises Blount's career to date for me.

This. This isn't a one off thing for Blount. He's been an Ahole his whole career and probably his whole life. A guy with a bad temper blew up because he got 0 carries. It would be more surprising if he didn't blow up. If he wanted to ensure he got cut, there's ways of doing that. What he did isn't enough to guarantee getting cut, and if he had more talent or if Tomlin felt we needed him more than we did, then he wouldn't have been cut.

NE needed a RB at the same time we happened to cut one. If Ridley didn't go down, NE perhaps never even picks Blount up. If NE doesn't, some other team would have.

What I do know for 100% certainty is Blount didn't sign with us just to steal our signals. We didn't even make the playoffs last year. We weren't a threat to NE. There's simply no way such a scenario played out.

For the record, Im not on the conspiracy train on this one too. Even though there is no conspiracy, it still tweaks my nads about the way it's played out. A dick head has been reward for being a douchebag by a shady, sinister franchise. The whole thing will crash and burn. The good in the Universe will prevail. ;)

I guess this is starting to pick up a lil steam. just saw on PTI that they were discussing this, and said the NFL needs to look into it considering NE's past..

Did they though? They had Jonas who ran for 200 yards and 4 TD's a week before.

And we had Bell at one time...

One RB on the roster isn't enough. Besides, Gray obviously chose not to follow the NE program and got himself put in the dog house.

Didn't this happen after they signed Blount?

No clue. Either way, NE obviously felt they could use Blount or they wouldn't have signed him. Remember, they lost their starting RB in Ridley and White didn't look very good when given a chance

Not exactly bringing in a quality character guy, Jonas was late to a practice and you bring in a guy who was just cut for walking off the field.

Ok. NE has also brought in Moss, Haynesworth and other guys with character issues. You're bang on, Blount isn't a high character guy, I just don't know what that has to do with anything. Obviously they thought he was worth it and felt they could manage him, and it seems to me that Belichek does manage these types of people quite well

How many of you liked the fact that Blount was signed by the Steelers? Be truthful now. I liked the signing. A good change of pace, a pounder. Just didn't work out, they let him go due to his actions. What I don't understand is they made no move to replace him right away.

Yes it stinks that he was grabbed up by the Cheatriots. I can only hope that Seattle sends them back to NE empty handed...

I like that we signed him, as far as not signing anyone when he left, Is all on Tomlin

I typically don't go for conspiracies, but I think there is something here. As is typical New England, it will be impossible to prove anything, but I bet there was a nudge nudge wink wink between an intermediary. Kind of a "gee, if things don't work out in the Burgh, there could be a place for Bount here again....", and that discussion Mage its way to Blount via someone else. Again, nothing direct, just targeted innuendo.

My point is it seems orchestrated to me. A guy is late to practice so you put him in the dog house and then you turn around and sign a guy who was just cut for walking out of a game. In other words, get yourself cut and you have a home waiting for you in NE.
