Artificial Turf

Just wondering, are there any rules on cleaning the field?

Popped into my head because i see these guys spiting and blowing snot our all over the place and occasionally puking out on the turf. Grass at least gets watered and cut. What are the cleaning procedures for turf?

Its got to be nasty as crap indoors after awhile.

 

I don't know about rules, but yes, field turf does get cleaned regularly.

 

Some stadiums also have like draining and cleaning systems built in to them don't they?

 

I'll ask The Donald next time I see him. I believe that's artificial turf he's sporting up there.

 

Field turf must be easy to clean or replace in chunks. The Skins practice field is here and they had a Rascal Flatts concert on it with beer spilled everywhere.

Just full of a bunch old tires. Once cancer arrives in players they will treat it just like asbestos and the Union will demand repercussions.
