Seeing how the Ravens beat up the Saints
in the run game, why can't we do the same?

Because we hate the Ravens. Just watch, Bell will have 9 carries.

Forsett is an irritatingly good RB.

At the same time, NO were missing tackles and failing to wrap him up. It will be interesting to see what Haley tries.

NO is in the bottom 10 against both Run/Pass, so that's a good thing.

And I think it's great if we can get Bell to run all over them. But looking back at the TN game, I still think it was closer than it had to be - considering Bell's yardage total. It's still going to be up to Ben and his receivers to light up the scoreboard. Remember, this ain't Montana...I mean Mettenberger... on the opposite side this time.

I agree. Give Bell the green light. Then, once he's gashed them, Turn Ben and the receivers loose.

The "B" Quartet: Bell, Ben, Brown and Bryant.

    Go get'em Stillers!!!!

Every game plan should involve a heavy dose of Bell in one form or another.

Yup. Run to open up the passing and passing to open up the run game. Bell will be unstoppable. This is totally a winnable game for the Steelers. Because they are playing at home I like our chances. If they are going to win the offense needs to score at least 30 points and the defense needs to be stout against the run. Our defense is indeed our lynch pin. Perhaps getting back Ike and Taz will make a difference. I expect more from Taz then we have seen so far this year . Ike is the better of them all. He will definately improve our chances of a win. Hoping Shazier is back as well.. Don't think we see JJ

The Steelers organization will also honor the '74 team for SBIX on Sunday. I'm hoping for a repeat of the Greene jersey retirement and demolishing of the Ravens!

I hope one of the backups step up their game too. I would hate to see bell abused before playoff time. we can't run the wheels off the guy. it's almost a damned if we do damned if we don't scenario though.

Mac, I know were going, but he is what, 22 yrs old. Get on his back and lets ride and enjoy. He is capable of carrying this team, he has that much talent.

These guys get paid to play a full season, including the playoffs. Keep the foot on the gas, otherwise we're in the same old predicament of having to rely on other outcomes to squeak into the dance.

I think it would be a mistake such as Mac pointed out to run Bell too much.. We need in the future as well ..

Everyone involved but it should start and end with the ringing of the Bell.

Agreed. It's not just about protecting Bell. It's about ensuring we have someone reliable and match-ready behind him. So I'm hoping - really hoping - that we open up a big lead and can give some of the back ups good playing time.

I disagree. We know what Bell can do. Balance is the key. But I feel for this game it's Ben's time to get back to form.
Both Defenses are sub par and I believe it's going to be a shoot out. Another 500 yard 6 TD effort for Ben would be fine with me.

Our offensive line should be able to create some big holes for the running game. I could've drove a bus through some of those running lanes that the Ravens gave Forsett Monday night..

If I were gonna be at the game I could work this out. LOL. I agree though. I think this game AND the falcons game should very heavily feature Bell. A fantasy dude walked up to me the other day and asked me how Ben was gonna do against the Saints and I said "hopefully he has zero passes and about 50 handoffs to Bell". He didn't like that gameplan. LOL.
