Since we won't be worrying over the game this weekend, are you watching other teams.

Are you taking the weekend off from football?

I don't watch the NFL, except for Steelers games. And since they're pretty much only on Primetime here in CT, it should be a normal Sunday for me.

I always watch football, no matter what. I will probably watch the Patriots or Packers. I'm a big fan of Bill and love to watch him coach. It is a glorious spectacle of intellectual intensity glistening with the inspirational illumination of a thousand yellow suns. I mean I believe the man is so angelic that doves actually follow him around and hover slightly above his hoodie at all times.

Well if they are they are pretty terrible at it because they lost to the two worst super bowl winners of all time. LOL.

I'll watch some football, but I'll probably spend a good part of the day raking leaves. Although I guess it could be worse. I could live in Buffalo and have to shovel 8 feet of snow.

Actually, do the Bills have a home game this weekend? I don't see how they could get the field ready if they do.

Yes , and there asking the fans to come help shovel snow at the stadium . Bills are willing to pay $ plus give seats to the game to those that are willing to do this

Man that's pretty cool. I might wind up watching them since I like snow games. I don't see how people can even get out of their houses though because I saw some pictures last night of people's front doors knocked down and snow pouring in to their living rooms! Also I saw a picture of a dog standing by the front door wanting to go pee but snow was literally piled up against the house to the point that you couldn't see anything but a white wall.

It might take them a month to get there. If it warms up and rains they will have to go by boat. There's going to be alot of flooding up in that region.

Does that come free with the ticket or do you pay more for it? Is it the thing where you just watch every game when the teams get in the red zone?

I hate snow, but if I lived anywhere close to there I might be willing to try and get up there and help out. Any NFL game is fun to watch, especially a snow fest like this one. But if I did live there, I'd have my own mountain of snow to move. And while I do have AWD and Winter Tires, I don't have a 6 foot ground clearance.

Maybe there should be a watercooler thread about this. It seems like every year people put their decorations out earlier and earlier. I've always thought the sort of "unwritten rule" was to wait until like black friday. Is this the earliest you've put them up? I've got people where I pastor that have had their trees up for a few weeks now! Doesn't that seem early to you? Someone told me the other day that Hobby Lobby had Christmas stuff out in JUNE!

I think I'm going to be on that same program, in the hopes that the next time their game is on, I won't be bothered.

I only watch the Steelers unless the game has a direct impact on the Steelers. If I'm out somewhere and a game is on, I will cheer for anyone against the ratbirds.

And then after this next big wave it's actually supposed to be in the 40's here over the weekend and then maybe the 50's with rain early next week. It's going to be a real mess this weekend and next week. I'm glad I'm just outside the snow belt and don't have to deal with it as much. It is not going to be fun.

Going to watch a bit of football but having a Thanksgiving celebration with my family on Sunday. Looking forward to the warm up in Iowa. Supposed to get above freezing for the first time in at least two weeks. Winter came WAY TOO EARLY this year...
