Thank you so very much for the link. When the move was made to release him I had asked how his family's health, this answers those question. As a father of two young children my heart goes out to his family and their struggle and I'm glad that both mother and son made it. I hope Steeler nation keeps them in their prayers and that now that the story has broken that fans and the team step up and offer some help to a player who asked for nothing but deserve much. I hope and pray for all the best for Adam and Miranda

But that made my eyes water...

Glad things turned out the way they did for them, and hope he finds future employment in the League...

I wondered what was going on, back in camp. Now I know.

Wow never knew why he didn't come back. Very good story and grateful everything seemed to work out well in terms of the health of his family. Hopefully he makes it onto a roster yet this year!

 

The irony that Peterson is still being paid after beating his kids yet this man isn't earning a dime because he chose to stay home with his wife to help keep her alive is just astounding.

Praying for this family and that he is signed to a team sometime soon.
