According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network Carter could be available for trade, he's not getting much playing time now because of they have Talib, and Roby also others ahead of him. He will be a free agent after the season would do it for a late round pick.

sign him, sign every one, lol

First of all, it's Ian Rapoport, so I don't believe it. Why would the Broncos want to trade away their depth? They are looking at another super bowl run.

Was Carter in on the blown coverage that sent the rats to the Super Bowl a few years ago?

Not interested. We don't need depth caliber CB's, we need a good starter. In all honesty what do you think Carter could give us over Brice McCain, Antwon Blake, and BW Webb? Throwing new "warm bodies" at the position isn't gonna fix our issues at CB. We either address it with a top pick in next years draft or in Free Agency.

Can we afford to address it in free agency?

I've been wondering what our current cap space is, but quite frankly too darn lazy to look it up. :hmmm:

I don't think we can. We have too many other areas that need to be addressed first

We're sitting around $1.1 Mil in cap space depending on a recent injury settlement. Only the Rams and Redskins have less cap room at the moment.

Maybe we can trade cap space with the Jets since they have about $20million to work with? LOL.

I would offer KC a 2nd rounder for Sean Smith....he was in a battle to start most of the summer...which he did win...but there are guys in line that they like...I am sure they would be interested in the high round pick if they think the guys behind him can still grow......Smith is better than any second round corner the Steelers could grab

I agree with you , but why not trade on conditional best is a #2 or could be a 3 or 4 ? Other Teams get guys to bite on that so why can't we..

Maybe we can trade them Cortez Allen and a jar of KY.
