a TD pass was thrown by a Steelers leftie?

Looking for Ned Flanders to sponsor a gift for the one that gets it right.

How about Josh Miller on last game of the 2003 season against Ravens - an 81 Yd TD to Chris Hope on a fake punt. Steelers lost 13-10 in OT. Miller finished the game/year with a 100% completion rate and a QBR of 158.3. From what I can tell all the other odd ball TD passes in modern history were all by righties.

I know he claimed on his low pay scale to have a huge Pez Dispenser collection while other wealthier players collected gold, diamonds and Ferrari's.

Was Randle-El a leftie? Nope. Went and checked.

Miller is an interesting guy. He traveled to over 140 Steelers bars across the country and then wrote a book about it.

Wow. Thought no one would get it.

    Congrats!

By the way, do you know how many left handed QBs have started in the NFL? The number is ridiculously low.

    Let's see...

    Tim Tebow
    Michael Vick
    Mark Brunell
    Steve Young
    Boomer Esiason
    Ken Stabler

That's all I got. I feel like there should be more, but none that come to mind.

(Lefty here. I usually notice these things. ;))

Ironically - looks like the only QB on Thigpen82's list who ever wore a Steelers uni was Pitts very own Tyler Palko although without a single stat for the 2009 season. Pitt could sure use even someone as average as Palko to hook up with the awesome WR Tyler Boyd who has no one to throw to him.

And to WWW, in honor of answering the original question correctly and Josh Miller's declared hobby, I await my Mean Joe Greene collectable series Pez dispenser in the mail any day now. ;)

    True.

Although I did remember Jared Lorenzon when I saw the name - the "Hefty Leftie", aka The Pilsbury Throwboy.

He was like 300 pounds or something... a Centre converted to QB as I recall.
Shame the NFL never worked out for him.
