 I knew SOMEBODY would have to rub this crap in tonight! LOL! Brett Favre is maybe my all time favorite football player and I hate to see his record fall. Especially given the way that Brett earned it vs the road that manning has taken to get it. I mean Brett played in the elements. He got hit constantly and wasn't always whining for flags. He didn't get the rules changed for him since he whined about not getting to touch the ball in overtime. He didn't get to play at least 8 games per year in a dome in one of the sorriest divisions in the league. But at least manning will never catch Brett's iron man streak. There is only thing I have in common with manning. Oh man this is so lame but I'm a glutton for punishment and in honor of the great Brett Favre I will sit here and take this. THEN I will go to work tomorrow and hear even more about it. I just have one question to all those that will say he's the greatest ever since he gets this record. Since Brett had it before him does that mean HE was the greatest of all time?

Can the 49ers give some effort now?
Can the tv announcers quit all the record talk now?
I just want to watch the game.

Congratulations Peyton!!!!!!!! I loved watching Favre play.............and retire.............and play..............and retire. For my money, Peyton has the record now. Brett used to have it but, neither one are Montana!

No and no. LOL. I saw a stat the other day that said in order for Ben to get this record he would have to play until 2027. Man I can't wait for the next 13 years to pass. LOL.

I agree one million percent! Joe and Tom Terrific stand alone. I go back and forth on which of the two are better. I have to give it to Joe for winning 4 but I think Brady is the best right now.

I used to really like Unitas until the Chokers signed him to try and put butts in the seats. He did nothing here except keep the team from retiring Alworth's # 19!

Sanders has been looking good. Unlike Woodley who has 5 tackles (2 solo) and no sacks through 6 games.

Man he is really crappy. I've never thought he was anything special. He's no Joe. That's for sure. I just hope Jim leaves him in SF when he becomes our coach next year. LOL. Man I almost puked a little just typing that. The guy can coach but I can't stand him.

Yeah I looked at his stats last night and he had a whopping 4 tackles. That is absolutely unreal. How is Keenan Lewis doing? Is he looking better than Cortez? I know the saints aren't doing good as a whole.

At the current pace he will get paid $322,916 per tackle this season.

Keenan had an INT today against the Lions. I think it's his first of the season but for CB's, sometimes less stats are a good thing.

They gave up two late tds today and blew it and I wonder who they were throwing at? Also for Woodley that's pretty good work if you can get it. LOL.

Oh. I thought it was San Diego. That would have been when the Rams were in LA though so that is probably why I was thinking that.
